      Good morning all,

I hope all is going to go well with the airlift home of all our citizens. Some are due into Stansted around 8pm tonight. They are only allowed to bring their hand luggage home with them and their other luggage will have to be sorted later. Beckie I would certainly change your destination if you can.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless.:wub2:

        Morning all :spinning:

        Yes, it's me..

I have been watching the site, but have not been able to just sit and write.:oopss:

Been quite busy with my knitting, and upcycling woollens. I am looking into
an in-door boot sale, run by the people who do the outside one, that I usually go to.

I am trying to get up some stock for Xmas presents, as it now that time of year. I
just noticed that John Lewis's Christmas advert should be out soon, about a girl and
lonely man in the moon. The big C word is well and truly here :help:

OH ricked his back, doing some work in the garden, I told him to stop, but would
he listen to me, NO..... :old::mute::mute: So now he is suffering.

Weather is really gloomy, so decided to stay in and get a wriggle on and try to do
some tidying up., then again I might just sit and catch up with my Harry Potter
films, only three more to go.

Hope all the poorly people are getting better :grphg:

        Have a good one.:imphrt::imphrt:

:grphg:Thanks @shiney, I have my fingers crossed that the current situation will sort itself out. I believe two planes of British citizens have now left Sharm, there's no Cargo in the hold & no luggage other than hand luggage which I think is a good idea. :blue thumb:
It must be terrifying for the people who are stranded.
I hope you enjoy Turkey, we went several years ago for a long weekend....I had an incident :ouch1:in the spa!! A story for a cold winters day when we all need a giggle!
:grphg: Thanks @moyra, I have to just hang on for the time being, Thomson holidays aren't changing any holiday destinations at the moment but I'm sure we will be offered a refund or alternative destination:blue thumb: My best friend has said if hubby & I can't go/find an alternative she would be happy to go on a spa day/mini spa break with me :hapydancsmil:, which would be really nice, it's always good to have a back up plan. :dbgrtmb:Have you any news on Steves friends? This is such a worrying time, I wonder what's going on, there's obviously a lot we don't know! :yikes:
          I hope everyone's ok?
Damp & wet here, but not cold.
          Enjoy your day :coffee:xx

I am still having problems with this one, but at least I have the laptop as a back up if necessary. I did cure it but unfortunately forgetting that did a system restore and ended up with the problem back undid the system restore but it still persists. The machine is over 7 years old now so shouldn't expect anything spectacular. No news of Steve's friends yet although understand something like 1800 peeps have been returned to the uk. Not a lot out of 20k but its a start.

Have a good day all, take care the wind is quite strong out their and none too warm. Stay warm and dry and above all, well. God bless.:wub2:

                    Good Morning Folks :)

I hope you are all well?

Chucking it down here & the wind has got up, perfect day for going to work! :snork:. I've got a work to do list today, I'm hoping to get right up to date with everything, then I'm back home to cook a batch of cottage pies for the freezer & then the housework, quite a busy day planned. :phew: Tomorrow I will do the grocery shopping & I might pop into town there's a Christmas jumper I 'need' :heehee: in Fat Face! :dancing: I'm certainly getting excited about Christmas! I think it's because we are here this year & we have a house full (my family) :hapfeet:Including my niece coming for the day, she's great fun :hapydancsmil:

I hope you all have a good day, stay dry everyone. :hapydancsmil:

Beckie, I am pleased you are looking forward to Christmas. I am afraid I am not as with no contact with my daughter and granddaughter seems little to look forward to. Very much Bah humbug from Steve so no point in bothering with Christmas decorations. Am thinking of offering all my Christmas decorations to either a local oph or to a school. There's a artificial Christmas tree there that cost me over £100 a couple of years back also all my garlands and tree decorations in the way of lots of baubles etc. Well they are not eating anything out in the back shed all the mice may be enjoying making a meal of them! Have a good time and fun in planning it.

                        Goodmorning all,
I am having a cuppa and then will start making my pepper/cranberry jelly and cranberry sauces with a little dram of grand marnier or drambuie added to this or that jar... I make these as gifts for Christmas. Then I'm off to do some installation work for my business and back to start getting things set up for brunch tomorrow. Got my two sons, their wives and 8 of the grandchildren coming for a late brekkie. Always fun.
Have a rest of the super day all!

Going to the service at 11 so won't be here to turn GC off for 2 minutes. Have to trust you all to observe the silence :paladin:

Still on my old computer with a useless battery, might go look at a new one later.

Have a good day everyone and remember them.
