Yawn Yawn, wakey wakey !! 2015 mk 2

Good morning everyone, hope you all survived a very noisy night. I am glad to say my two gazebos weathered it as did my plastic greenhouse. Not looking forward to walking Amber but what has to be done has to be done, still very windy out there but I think the rain has stopped.

My day off today, off to get a haircut this morning (shouldn't take long) then a bit of housework and general pottering about.

Looks like the rest of the apples have been shaken off the tree now so will pick them up later, will probably mow the lawn this afternoon if it stays dry, still plenty of grass growth here.

Gracious what a terrible night , I lost count of how many times I got up to check the hens needless to say they came out this morning like nothing had happened!

It feels very chilly here, but it's dry.

More terrible news from Paris, it's absolutely terrifying. Where is this going to end?

I've got a few jobs to do at home before I head out to work, the accountant is next on my list.... You will understand I've got my priorities right, I've caught up with you folks before the accountant!

Finally a morning with no frost, but still say snow though for the weekend, which this time last year we had quite a bit and the fact that we have none right now, we've dodged it long enough.

I was supposed to head down to Toronto but the steel I am waiting on, wasn't cast yesterday, so hopefully tomorrow.

I have a couple things to do and then I plan on sorting my seeds, I got all my pepper seeds done yesterday, and some specialty tomatoes that I have, 170 of those(tomatoes), not including other tomatoes!!!

Off to check my duvet in the dryer, thanks to the cat !!! Enjoy your day everyone.

Was right about getting promoted to being "in charge of propagation" I'm the only one who knows how to cut glass for the new propagator

Reminds me of the incubators they use for preemie babies just don't have the sleeves for hands on care.

Good morning everyone, apart from a set of steps falling over and my metal ramp for the mobility scooter being displaced I think we got away light. I was hoping today would be better but the forecast is not that good. Must get Amber out soon while it is still dry. Not quite light enough for me yet though.

I've done a bit of weeding on the drive....dam grass & dam weeds, they just keep growing!

Its a gorgeous day here, but all good things come to an end, supposed to get cold this afternoon and we will see flurries starting tomorrow through Sunday.

I am off to the hairdressers for my cut/color appointment, and need to do some grocery shopping after, so no Toronto trip again for me today.

Got up for a smoke only to find my flatmate still up at 3am and ranting drunk. I'm now minus an entire bottle of rum that was new at 8pm last night

Never mind, it's only £16 a bottle Oh for a place of my own again

Gonna try to get a bit more kip before dawn.
