Yawn Yawn, wakey wakey !! 2015 mk 2

Good Morning all, 4am is when I start listening to my radio to hear Steve Allen on LBC when his show finishes at 6.30 that's when I get up. Steve has to borrow my car this morning to take a wheel off his van down to be repaired. He got a puncture coming home and when he went to change it found that the spare was also flat. That will teach him a lesson. Still he will have to put the back seat forward in my car to get that wheel into the boot otherwise it will never go and I do not want him wrecking my nice new seat covers. Not even Amber has been allowed in there since it was cleaned out and the covers put on. I took her by taxi last time I took her to the vets!

Morning all.

Still sat in my nightie , and not had any toast

Off to my monthly coffee morning, it's for carers and gives us a chance to chinwag
with other carers.

Went yesterday for what I thought would be a usual eye appointment( never had anything
untoward before). After doing the routine of changing all the little glass discs, at the
end I had double vision. So then more jiggly around and gets that put right. New lenses
needed.

Then the pressure test... left eye pressure up a bit(family history of Glaucoma) also MRI. so now
letter and results to doctor, and for her to forward letter to eye hospital.

Never mind, no point in worrying.

Better get dressed.

Another grey day, could do with some sun, gonna have to plug the car into the caravan to charge the batteries at this rate

Paperwork is waiting for me to finish. I'm now down to the last few bits of business work to do and am looking around at my own window treats and decided that some of them need renewing. Also had a good look around the cellar and figured out a way to clear more space down there for grandkids play area. Really looking forward to going be down there, drill in hand and playing because it's another cloudy day coming up and this gives me something useful to do inside.

Its cool and raining here, still no snow at all, but calling for squalls on Friday!!

Pretty much finished our shopping over the weekend, so glad that's out of the way.

I was down in Toronto yesterday and waiting on a text to head back down there today.

We are having mild weather so the delivery people cannot see the numbers carved into the igloos at this point...

I get a laugh out of their latest add with the "I was born" song from Painted Wagon. ...

 

They won't deliver to the West Country here either as they think we all live in mud huts and drink cider

2am and i'm wide awake Kettles on and the Christmas cards are in the post

Not started Christmas shopping yet so I guess everyone is getting lawn feed and instant coffee this year

Last day at the National Trust garden before Christmas today, the chickens are going to the head gardener's place for Christmas, but don't worry, she'm vegetarian

Very dull here but it's dry.

I've been entertained by the hens this morning! They are full of mischief, Harriet & Veronica have been sitting on the sofa in the kitchen! I didn't even see them sneak in! Good job their Daddy didn't catch them!

Not much to report, the Christmas chores are slowly being crossed off the list, work is busy but I'm ploughing my way through that.
