    Haven't the faintest! :dunno:

Shiney Philosophy is based on asking myself questions.
Is it possible that it may hurt?
    Is it uncomfortable?
    Is it strenuous?

If the answer to any of those questions is 'Yes', then don't do it!! :old: :dbgrtmb:

Lili...There's not much keeps you down is there:love30:...just take it steady and enjoy pottering, you never know we might even get some sunshine:th scifD36::blue thumb:

Lynda...Brilliant picture:love30:...looks like madness to me:biggrin: but what great fun too:dancy: the lads did really well by the looks:love30:The only time that ice would look inviting to me is when I'm having one of my 'turns':rolleyespink::snork:

Moyra,Eve and Beckie hope you're all OK and of course our chaps:wub2:

It's a bit overcast here this morning but rumour has it it's going to get quite warm today:th scifD36: so my first job will be to muck the chooks out when they've finished in the egg laying department otherwise there'll be tantrums:rolleyespink:

          Aloha everyone,

Lili, please be careful and don't overdo things :grphg:

We got a lot done in the garden and I've been moving the sprinkler around for a light watering of the beds as we've had very little rain in the last few weeks. Some of the plants have been looking a bit droopy.

At this time if year it always seems that we will never get the garden ready for Open Day. Mrs Shiney has spent many solid days of work tidying up the pots in the nursery areas, repotting, throwing things out, checking that newer plants have rooted, sowing, and making plant tubs for sale (some herb tubs and some succulent tubs) and then adding freshly washed gravel :pathd: to the top of them.

Then we have to start clearing up. Especially the pergola (two 6ft tables covered in all her glass making and jewellery making work) and the car port, which is the entry area for the back garden, that is full of more pots of plants, all our gardening equipment, buckets, bins, loads of flower arranging equipment, boxes of glass etc.

The pergola area is where we have the bookstall and bird boxes for sale. The car port will have the entry table, some art and ceramics for sale, the raffle table and the table for all the pots of honey.

In the few days prior to opening we have to get the marquee and erect it, got loads of tables and chairs, tea urns, pots and jugs, coffee mugs, and try to make sure we have enough plates, serviettes, tea and coffee supplies etc. and then, on the Friday, get all the sandwiches made and stored (the lovely Jenny and "M" are coming to help :wub2:).

It's now only two weeks to go :phew:

Just to make sure I'm not going to be lazing around I have three AGM's in the last seven days and am chairing all of them

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning early people :)

            A misty morning in Dorset.

Off down the plot to carry on hardening stuff off, then back here to carry on clearing the yard.

Have a good day everyone :)

              Good morning my forum chums
I hope everyone's ok? The forecast is good for today so I'm hoping to get in the garden, I've got to dash into work but hoping that won't take too long , I need to do a quick grocery shop too.
Nora is still ok, she's not eating a great deal but she's dashing around the garden, jumping off & on the coop & generally being nutty!:heehee:
@LyndaG ypu have a very brave boy, there's no way you would catch me in that ice! It's a boy thing for sure! But good on him for doing it, a challenge is good for all of us! I hope Phil is well & you are too? I've not been to Aldi for my plant fix for a couple of weeks I seem to have more plants than pots :heehee:.
@shiney you are so busy, I'm exhausted just reading your post this morning :phew: take it steady, it will suddenly all come together, I'm very much looking forward to seeing your garden & meeting all the forum members :dbgrtmb:.
@wiseowl i hope all is ok your end & you are back up to normal speed:dancy:, I hope Mrs Woo is also well. I'm sure your garden is coming on well
@moyra I hope your foot is better & you are able to walk better.
@lili please be careful, we don't want you back in hospital, little & often I think is the key, do give yourself plenty of breaks & once you start to feel sore please stop!
@lost_in_france i hope all is well your end. Hope the wind has cleared & you can get in the garden today.
@Lolimac hope your chooks are all well, aren't they funny, mine also have a tantrum if I muck them out too early! :rolleyespink:
Take care folks, catch up later on

Hello everyone, think I overdid things yesterday. Washing, hovering, and cutting the lawns too. Today I intend to take things a bit easier.
Have a good day all, God bless. :wub2:

                  Morning all

                  Lots of early risers today

Bit cloudy here but nice and warm so a good day to get stuck into weeding the flower beds. The grass needs cutting but it's not the done thing over here to do it on a Sunday (or hang out washing!) so that will have to wait till tomorrow

Lovely to hear nutty Nora is doing well Beckie

I'm sure everything that needs to get done will get done Shiney and if it doesn't then I'm sure no one will notice

Doesn't sound like any of us will be having a lazy Sunday liliana, don't overdo it though

Hope everyone is well - have a great day

                    Good morning all,

Am aching all over again, just do not feel very well. So it will be another day of taking things easy, that shoulder is still playing up pretty bad.

Hope everyone else is ok and getting well if you are under the weather. Have a good day all,
                    God Bless.:wub2:

                      Aloha everyone,

Moyra, I hope you feel better quickly :blue thumb:. Just take it easy today :grphg:

I ache today but it's a good ache, just from gardening.

We got a lot done yesterday and hope to get a lot done today. Tomorrow will be a non-gardening day so we shall need to make up for it later in the week.

Keep well and have a great day

                      Aloha!

                        Happy Birthday Lili,have a good day:spinning:

Shiney...You'd think after all the exercise we get gardening we shouldn't get any aches ,we use just about every muscle there is I think. My friends keep trying to get me to join the gym:rolleyespink: Not on your nelly,my garden is my gym. They go for an hour at a time, jigging around and carrying on where as we spend a lot more time out there and have a proper work out:phew: plus it doesn't cost us anything...Erm...having said that the way I buy plants I could get a lifetimes membership for the gym:heehee:...

Hope our Woo et al are OK:thumbsup:

Wishing everyone well, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:
