Good morning all, well what's not done now or not got its a case of go without. I do not think there is anything overlooked.

Morning all. Mild and blowy here this morning, weather's not too bad either.

Today I will be mostly helping Mrs T with the preparations for tomorrow, which will mainly involve me following orders as required.

@Beckie76 If you have any of that delicious looking cake left after tomorrow (most unlikely), I'm only about half an hour's drive away.

It's going to be a great day. A busy one but I'm seeing lots of friends and what can be more fun than that!

Only got about 4 hours sleep as I got up and worked in the middle of the night. Client coming to pick up the goods by 7 and then the day is mine

All is well my end, the turkey is here after being returned for a larger one! . The presents are wrapped, table laid, Santa presents delivered into the two rooms my niece thinks are hers?! . Church service attended! Last of the groceries bought, house cleaned except kitchen floor! Sausage rolls cooked, frozen stuff defrosting, most presents delivered, my friends table laid & stuffing made! Wow how ever I managed all that I will never know! I think I'm about ready for my guests now.

I hope you are all ready & organised.

I'd now like some dry weather, my grass is soaking wet & I'd like to do some gardening whilst I'm off work.

@Trunky i shall pop some cake over to you uou can make the tea!

I shall be on the forum in the morning for a natter, but those of you who are too busy I hope you have a lovely time & wish you a merry Christmas now xxx

I have to admit I'm still snuggled up in bed! Kev is sorting out the turkey I hope! He said he would
get up early to put it in the oven.
I will have to get up very soon (I will get a headache if I stay in bed too long, I'm not good at laying in) I also need to get the bread machine on the go, I'm going to make a loaf of chibata bread to go on the cold table tonight (one of my brothers favourites!)

I left a glass of Prosecco, a mince pie & some carrots out for Santa last night & sent a photo C/O my brother for my niece, the last communication from my brother was 00.10, my niece was bouncing off the walls apparently! She's so excited & has been for several weeks but that's far too late for her to be up, a snooze will be in order for her later on I think!

Morning all. Seasonal felicitations to everyone.

I'm just about to tuck into my breakfast rabbit pie. This is an old East Anglian tradition which I like to keep going, cold rabbit pie for Christmas Day breakfast is something I've done every year for as long as I can remember. I know a few other 'old stagers' who still do it too.
