    Merry Christmas everyone!

    I packaged the turkey I cooked last night and will include containers of mashed turnip, potatoes, dressing, gravy, assorted vegetables and a jar of cranberry sauce and be able to drop it off at a friends home this morning. Then I visit my friend in the long term care place - we will watch Handel's Messiah. I will read his Christmas cards to him and pin them up on his wall. Then I will home to start getting things ready for my Christmas dinner. One son and family are coming by to share it with us.

                      Aloha everyone,

                      Today is the start of a busy week but I've got it all organised (famous last words! :heehee:).

                      Some of Mrs Shiney's family today, my sister and all her brood tomorrow, friends on the 28th, bridge club on the 29th, other bridge club on the 30th, day off on New Year's Eve, lot of friends on New Year's Day, day off on the 2nd and the last lot of friends (20 of them) on the 3rd. On the 8th day I'll rest :roflol:

                      It's also very mild and windy today but guests are arriving early, so no walkies for us. :sad:
