    Good Evening Everyone,

I'm exhausted after yesterday, but we had a brilliant time.

@shiney my niece was full of beans! She danced for an hour! :hapydancsmil:Played on the wii...taught all the adults what to do! :doh:Ran around talked & giggled non stop & generally kept everyone entertained! :heehee: I bet she's been asleep most of the day today!

We walked to the next village earlier to see our best friends & godson & his brother they were so excited.

We finished clearing up this afternoon, I've just put the tablecloth & napkins in the washing machine.

I hope youve all had a great time, enjoy your evening :ccheers:

Guests have just gone. It went very well, they all said that the food was fabulous. It was good catching up with them. Our nephew brought his fiancée who we haven't met before (he works abroad most of the time - in the oil industry). She's very nice and I hope she felt at home.

The timing on the cooking went well and everything was ready at the same time :phew: Now we're sitting and relaxing and we're going to watch the Two Ronnies (We've got an old TV :heehee:)

      Tomorrow it's my family!

          Aloha Woo and everyone,

Woo, I hope you have recovered. :grphg:

It's very mild here as well but the dry weather has just turned to drizzle. Sarafi has just gone into the greenhouse and is fast asleep on his mat on the shelf. He's not stupid! :heehee:

          Family again today. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good morning everyone,

Sounds like you had a good time yesterday Shiney. Very quiet here. Must get the turkey curry on. Have taken Amber for her walk so she is settled until lunchtime. Enjoy your company again today. Hope everyone else is all coping and keeping well. Have a good day everyone, take care and look after yourselves, keep warm and dry and safe and well everyone.
            God bless.:wub2:

              Good Morning, :hapfeet:

I hope everyone is full of beans.

I've only just woken up....what a lazy woman!

I have a day off today, I'm not sure what we are doing I might buy myself a new pair of wellies, mine have a hole in them.

Best I get in the shower & do something constructive!

              Enjoy your day everyone. :hapydancsmil:

                Morning early people :)

Slept in myself this morning :snooze:

Breakfast and then a bit of tinkering with the lathe.

Thoughts going out to all those flooded out up North this morning

Have a good day everyone :)

Don't you sing Shiney, no neither do I. Hope everyone is ok. My turkey curry is smelling the flat out smells lovely. That is just made up of the legs. The rest of the carcass and bones etc are all in the big pressure cooker. Put veg in and will wait till it all falls off the bones. Do for soup for a few days.

We went to Freeport shopping centre in Braintree this afternoon & I didn't spend a bean! :phew:
Once back home I decided it was time to make a start on clearing out the office & the junk room! I've cleared a black bin liner of rubbish (mainly paper/boxes etc) but it doesn't look much better! I have a large bag of clothes & bric a brac for the charity shop, I hope once they are removed I shall see a big difference! I do like having a clear out! :yahoo:I shall continue in the morning, first stop is my bedside cabinet!
I hope you've all had a nice day.
                      Night night sleep tight :snooze:

                          Aloha everyone,

Yesterday went well with my sister and some of her family. Good food, good chat, played with the new great grandchild in the family (a lovely, cheerful little girl) and we interspersed that with some games of Trivial Pursuit - females against males (haven't played it in years). We stopped after each team had won an equal amount of games - very friendly way of ending up. :grphg:

I expect it to be good weather today so we may get a walk in with our friends that are coming today. Not so much cooking this time. Lunch here but dinner at the Indian. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

                          Aloha!

Good Morning everyone. Still not getting any lighter of a morning yet! Hopefully soon will.
Think I have caught a chill, I took Amber out immediately after my shower yesterday morning and although I wrapped up warm still think I should have given my pores time to close but she was anxious to go. Not in so much of a hurry this morning. We ended up consuming the turkey soup and Amber had her share to so the curry has been steeping for today. That will see the end of the turkey thankfully.

Hopefully things are going to start to improve for those poor people in the flood areas. Terrible situation. I am sure it is because there are no longer council crews dredging ditches and keeping the drains free. Also too much building on flood plains as well. And they talk of building more on green belt. Time to think again. Stop flooding other countries with all our cash when it is needed at home. Do not see the EU or other countries funding our difficulties.
Sorry, I'll get off my band wagon now.

Have a good day everyone, oh God just realized it is another Monday! Stay warm and dry, and above all safe and well.
                            God bless. :wub2:

                              Good Morning,

Oh golly the floods are terrible, I feel so sad for all involved. It sounds like there's more rain on its way too.

We are off to the tip today, to take the old tv (its broken & been in the spare room long enough!) there's a few other bits to take too.

I hope you are all ok.

                              Enjoy your day :hapydancsmil:
