Yawn Yawn, wakey wakey !! 2015 mk 2

Good morning everyone,

The eye appointments went well apart from being overlooked for half an hour waiting for the visual fields test, then a chap who was due at 11.30 was asked to go in before me so I had to point out my appointment was for 11am. No apology it will be sorted when you get to the consultation room was all I got, thankfully it was because I again pointed out my wait.

Anyway I hope everyone is feeling better today, my shoulder is still bad. Must go late taking Amber out and I haven't taken my meds yet.

Morning all

Good news with the weight management clinic, lost 3kgs in the last month, (don't
know how) So have lost 19kgs since March.

Wish I had better news about my back Had the worst night ever, ended up
with pains from hips to both knees, I could have screamed Got up to get some pain
killers, but they took ages to kick in. Getting some new ones today, hope they work
better.

I hope everyone is well, @moyra I hope that shoulder soon feels better.
Chilly start here this morning but it's bright so that's nice.
We have a lot of birds coming & going in the garden today, I've put some extra fat balls out in the back garden for the nursing birds, I think I have sparrows & blackbirds nesting in the conifer hedge . Our resident Robin has been singing in the top of the lilac tree in next doors garden, it's beautiful . There's also a cockoo in the field we've not seen him but hes very vocal.
@Lolimac what did you buy at the garden centre?
@liliana I hope you are feeling better?
@lost_in_france i hope you get your bedding plants in today?
@shiney sounds like you are making good progress in the garden

Shiney....you sound busy as always...it must make it awkward to cut the lawn with the marquee up but I'm sure it looks lovely especially those lawn edges...

Waves to Woo et al,I hope you're bounce is steadily coming back

I got to the nursery yesterday and do you know I never bought one plant....the reason being, turns out they're CLOSED on a Wednesday

The lawn has been covered in Starlings this morning,something I've not seen for many a moon.It looks like it would have been a good year for Crane Flies but the Starlings are making short work of the larvae

Overcast and cooler here this morning ,makes for a good pottering session

I think I should have been walking ducks today not a dog! What a rough day for middle of May!
No wonder my joints ache they just do not like this weather, probably because it is cold more than the rain. Hope you have all had a good day,

It's maybe the horrible dampness Moyra? I even put the woodburner on this afternoon as even though the temperature was still around 12/13 the rain made it feel so damp and cold. The drawback of living in an old cottage I guess.

Morning all

What a blooming wet day, yesterday. Had to go to the hospital to see the
surgeon, for post-op review, and all ok. Takes me 4 hours round trip, and I only saw
him for 15 minutes.

Still, at least that's all done.

Going to try and catch up with yesterday, still more replanting to do for the bootsale,
hope the weather is set fair for Sunday

Hope everyone managed to dry out yesterday, and all joints warmed up

Lili...Crickey that's a long round trip for the hospital but I'm pleased all is well,don't go over doing things just yet though

No rain here again,everything is bone dry,I left it too late to water yesterday and we were due for a cold night so left well alone but it'll be my first job this morning

What a carry on at 3am this morning...got woken with the garage alarm going off,it makes such a racket,jumped out of bed,noticed the up and over door was open Burglers?...we were running around like the Keystone Cops On investigating with the help of neighbour who too had been woken by the noise everything was intact....annnd we found the 'burgler'...it was Theohe obviously couldn't sleep so decided to cause mischief ,there he was with the remote for the garage door in his mouth .Mr Loli had left it at dog level so Theo seized the chance to have a playHe's like a naughty child that dog,good job the neighbour thought it was funny

I hope everyone else had a quieter night

Oh Lili that was a long round trip for a 15 minute consultation. Still that's good it is over for you.

Loli, that is so funny, Steve and I had a laugh at that, I glad your neighbour also enjoyed the joke!

Hope everyone is ok. Shoulder still hurting. I haven't had chance to take my medication yet or take some ibuprofen and rub the shoulder in volterol will do that in a minute. Gave Amber her walk first and then had to get the Wheelie Bins in after them being emptied a little while ago.
