      Morning all:spinning:,

Busy day today, got to get all the plants ready to go for the boot sale tomorrow.:rolleyespink:

OH has been going to the car with his tape measure, trying to work out how to
get the most trays in. :thud:

It looks like it is set fit for Sunday. Just do not like getting ready early, it just feels
different , I am used to getting up early, but then it's leisurely.

Still, hope everyone has a good day.:imphrt:

        Aloha everyone,

Lili, God luck with the boot sale. :blue thumb:

We worked very hard in the garden yesterday. I did some mowing and a lot of weeding. Mrs Shiney was busy with patients all morning but really got stuck into it in the afternoon with weeding. One of her friends came round for the afternoon to also help with the weeding :dbgrtmb:. The weeds are growing very fast now and we filled two wheelie bins.

More mowing today and I'll trim all the lawn edges. I'll be doing the trimming every few days from now just to keep it looking nice and, hopefully, not have much in the way of trimmings in the edges of the beds. My back isn't up to me cleaning the trimmings out of the edges. :noidea: :)

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

          Good morning everyone,

Shiney, time is pushing on for you, as I am at the moment do not think I shall make it next weekend. I have been having more arguments with Steve, but it is his birthday next Friday so do not know whether we shall be going out to lunch or not as he likes to spend it with his friends. So it may be Saturday for his birthday lunch, not that I feel up to that. This shoulder and the weather has me down in the dumps.
WOO and everyone else, I hope you are all keeping well. God bless.:wub2:

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well?
There's a very large black cloud over the garden :frown:, I'm off to work shortly so at least the garden will be watered whilst I'm busy at work......there's a positive in every situation you just have to find it?!!!! It's quite windy here too (I can't think of a positive reason for wind! :loll:)
I've not done much in the garden this week it's been a case of water, look & think about gardening whilst at work!
The hens are all well Nora is certainly back to her normal mad self! The three of them have just had a bowl of porridge each in the back porch! I'm worming them at the moment, I spinkle the worm meds into the porridge & it's gone in a flash! They think they are getting a tasty treat!
I've got a few plants ready for the plant sale @shiney, do you need me to bring anything else? I also have a book for the book stall.
I'd better get cracking or I shall be late. Have a good day folks & look forward to catching up later on :hapydancsmil:
              Beckie xx :)

                    Good morning everyone,

Moyra...Nagging pain can drag you down at times can't it:grphg:...It's just come to my mind,my MIL used to swear by a 'TeNs Pen' have you ever tried one? it might be worth a go:blue thumb: we definitely need the temperature to up its self .it's amazing what some lovely warm sunshine can do for us:SUNsmile:

Lili...Hope you have a good sale, don't go lugging too much around though:thumbsup: take it steady:blue thumb:

Beckie..So glad Nora is back on form:chicken::dbgrtmb:

Speaking of chooks...the last 4 'girls' I got to go with my 2 oldies are really good in the garden,I do protect most plants but can't do them all, they seem to leave well alone .Most of the planting out jobs I do while they're in their run because other wise they like to 'come and help':rolleyespink: if I point at a plant they immediately think I mean 'kill'..My brother was wandering around (being followed)with a tray of Evening Primrose plants saying 'Ooo look how they've come on'...I told him to make sure he put them out of the way when he put them back because
now the girls have seen them it'll be curtains ...the chooks had taken no interest until they saw him with them.He thought he'd put them out of the way but no...so now they've had the 'chicken chop'..it's a case of stealth gardening here:th scifD36::chicken:

Shiney ...you could do with a lightweight battery powered garden vac to get the edge clippings up to save your back,I quite like the idea of one of those myself, mind you the battery would run out half way through the size of your garden:wub2:

Quick cuppa then off to the workhouse:coffee:

Have a good day all and take care:SUNsmile:

Off to water the greenhouse and start sorting the cuttings to take to Shineyland from the cuttings that didn't take

                      Have a good day everyone:)

                            Aloha everyone,

Moyra, I know you'll make it if you can :blue thumb:. We hope you'll be here :grphg:

Just your bright and perky self :). Some warm clothes may help, according to the forecast!

Today will be another full day of weeding and tidying up. We've started clearing the car port which is used like a lot of people use their garages (we don't have a garage) - for dumping all their useful junk. We need to make room for four tables and for people to walk through - plus I've already made two very high stacks of cardboard boxes for people to take their plants away in.

I suppose we could always do with spare, used, carrier bags for the small purchases. We have some but never enough! :rolleyespink:

Keep well and have a great day

Beautiful day here so will be cracking on with planting out the beds. Luckily no chooks here to 'help', though I do have a clumsy Cooper to trample on them as follows me round
