Morning all! A bit overcast here but I'm working from home today which is nice. Bit of a lie-in and I can cuddle my boys (the dogs, she adds hastily!) as I work.

Sorry to hear about Mr Loli's neck :( Very painful and unpleasant. Hope he recovers quickly.

      Haveva good day everyone :)

        Aloha everyone,

We had gales in the night but it has now dropped to being very blustery. There's still a weather warning out for our area so I think I'll put up the Shineyland Shield, but only half force so that the rain can still get in :)

I haven't checked the beans to see how they've survived the gales. I hope they're OK as we sold all the spares that we had - sold a few hundred :blue thumb:

Loli, I hope Mr Loli gets better quickly. Four drops of Rescue Remedy (Five flower) in a bottle of water and sipping it regularly will help and so will an Arnica pill in the water - if you still have any.

Most of the raffle prizes have been sorted. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

        Summer tomorrow

        Aloha!

                Good morning all,

Must admit had to drag myself out of bed this morning, could easily have snuggled down for another hour. However must face those horrible winds out there and get Amber walked.
Have a good day all, weather permitting. God bless. :wub2:

                  Good morning my forum chums,

I dashed around the garden last night bringing all the baskets into the kitchen & put as many pots into the greenhouse as possible, but I'm pleased to say the wind wasn't too bad here, we have a really grey sky & it's raining, on a positive note the rain will do the garden good & apparently the farmers need the rain :dbgrtmb:
I want to put my French beans out before I go to work so need the rain to stop for a few minutes!
The hens are shouting for a treat!
@Zigs lots of luck for the interview
@Lolimac so sorry to hear about Mr Loli's neck & it's a shame you can't get out in the van
@LyndaG theres no point running yourself into the ground my friend, we don't want you making yourself ill. Thanks for telling me about this weeks Aldi offeres , I'd forgotten to look. I can't believe the amount of plants they have in:blue thumb: I hope Phil is keeping well.
@moyra I was also suffering from 'stay in bed syndrome' this morning! It's just like winter, may your day be full of . Take it easy in the rain whilst you walk Amber :doggieshmooze:
@wiseowl I hope all is well in your nest?@shiney, I hope your beans are ok, my shineyland beans are doing very well :dbgrtmb:@Anzia, the dogs will be pleased you are home today, I hope you are able to sneak a lunchtime walk with them  :dbgrtmb:

Have a good day my friends :grphg:

                    Morning all

Dull and dreary here with rain to come. No stormy winds yet

Luckily my dogs aren't morning dogs - they like a lie in even more than I do :heehee:. So no need for early morning walks here

Sorry you're not getting your break Loli. Hope Mr L is better soon and you can plan another one

Have a lovely day working from home Anzia

Hope you got your beans in Beckie

Sending good thoughts to everyone and stay safe from the storms

                            Aloha everyone,

Today's forecast is warm and sunny but the sun is having a lie-in at the moment.

I've an optician's appointment today so I shall have had a good all round service in the last few weeks (chiropodist, hygienist, chiropractor, bowel cancer screening, abdominal aortic aneurism screening) the last two are freebie NHS tests for wrinklies and both showed clear :dbgrtmb:.

Now it's the time for me to book our cars in for their annual service and MOT. My car is only eight years old but Mrs Shiney's is coming up for sixteen years (only 33,000 miles and one little old lady owner)! :loll: :runforhills:

                            Have a great day

Loli, do hope OH's neck is improving, what a shame it has put the kybosh on your few days away.

Shiney like yours my car has to go for its MOT, have booked it in for tomorrow. Have only done about 200 miles since the last one. Just not using her much at all now.
