      Good morning Woo and all,

Woo...It is a cracking morning again isn't it:thumbsup: looking like another good day, hope all you cylinders are firing too:dbgrtmb:

Moyra...Isn't it lovely waking up to the sunshine:dbgrtmb:

Shiney...We've GOT to find a solution for your foot, you've coped with it so well considering how much you are on your feet ,I don't know how you've stood it:love30: I'm crippled even if I get a small blister:doh:

:phew: It did get hot yesterday and it wasn't any cooler in the shade.Lovely weather for the chooks..
      P1070253.JPG
I missed a great picture yesterday, all the chooks were scattered on the lawn flaked out sun bathing, they looked like they'd been shot out of the sky:biggrin: .Archi and Theo joined them, even though they were puffing and blowing they still would go where it was cooler:rolleyespink:
Yesterday morning I also noticed what I thought was a male Blackbird feeding his young one both clinging onto the side of the chicken run but then spotted that the youngster was actually inside the run and must have been locked in their all night and his Dad was feeing him through the mesh. How it survived the wrath of the 'girls' I'll never know.I went out straight away and let the chooks out which I normally don't let them roam so early in a morning because Mr Fox is usually prowling around on his way home from a night out but had to get them out of the way so the young Blackies Dad could come back and collect him, which he did within minutes :dbgrtmb:

Another good pottering session out there today,I'll never tire of it,magic this gardening business isn't it:dancy:

Wishing everyone well, have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

          Aloha everyone,

What a scorcher yesterday! It was in the 80's :hate-shocked:. Sunny and hot again today :phew: I got a lot of the mowing done but am not sure whether I'll finish it today as I'm rather busy.

My foot isn't too bad but I need to try to stop it getting too hot and sweaty upload_2015-6-6_7-46-7.png I wear breathable walking shoes all the time and take them off as often as possible.

Last night, about 11.15 I heard a noise outside and looked at the patio doors. Sarafi had his nose pushed firmly against the glass and was miaowing at us. So Mrs Shiney had to bring him in and give him a big cuddle. I could hear his engine running even over the sound of the TV. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning all

Lovely and fresh and sunny here after yesterday's thunderstorm and lots of rain. After I'd spent all morning watering of course

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone, hope you are all well

Good Morning All, I couldn't get off to sleep so I've been looking at plant websites & magazines since 1.30am! :hapydancsmil:Needless to say I feel tired now! :snooze:
I hope you are all ok & are enjoying the lovely weather, long may it last
I've not been in the garden much, but I've spring cleaned the house, just the wardrobes & windows to finish off  Thank god that's done! I'm always shocked at the amount of 'stuff' one gathers in a house, anyway the church jumble will be pleased to receive my unwanted stuff!
I'm going to let the girls out now, 25 minutes early!
Have a great day folks :spinning:

                  Aloha everyone,

Another wonderfully sunny day  and the wind has dropped.

I've spent an hour out in the garden watering the greenhouse, patio and pot plants. It all gets done by hose :blue thumb: The birds are singing very loudly and I've made sure that all the feeders are full up.

The bees are sunbathing and gently collecting pollen and the Jerusalem sage, alongside the big weigelia bushes, has been closely inspected by them. It's not ready for them yet but they seem a little bit impatient. Another week of this weather should do it. :)

I've made our sarnies for our picnic lunch :heehee:

                    Morning all

Woke up early, it's a beautiful day out there

Well done on the clear out Beckie, another one of those 'round tuit' jobs that I need to do too. Next rainy day, I promise :heehee:

Another coffee and I'll get out and get the last few salvias planted out and start weeding the veggie patch before it gets too hot

                    Have a wonderful day everyone

                        Good morning everyone,

Not a cloud in the sky this morning and Yes @shiney that wind has dropped:dancy:....I really must stop making an issue out of the wind but I really don't like it,especially when it's wrecking the plants.Yesterday one of my Brugmansias had a large chunk snapped off so I've trimmed it down and tried to make a cutting of it.To be fair the wind did do me a bit of a favour because the plant is a better shape now:snork:...

Whizzing to Nottingham this morning for a family christening so I'm pleased it's a fine day for it...

Have a great day everyone, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:

                            @Lolimac

                            Shiney's road report:-

I don't know where you pick up the A1 but there's a car on fire about 10 miles South of Ripon at the moment!!! It's on the Northbound carriageway but it's causing problems Southbound because of rubbernecking.

The overnight scheduled road closure on the A1 near Retford is supposed to be cleared by now but they're always late in opening. So don't expect it to open until nearer 8 a.m.

Have a good journey. :blue thumb: I'll wave to you as we go by. :heehee:
