        I've only just managed to get back on the ether. We've had six days of hot sunshine, good company and lovely grub. The foot is holding up well despite me doing a lot of walking. Up and down lots of hills, about 7 miles per day.

                      Traffic chaos today, got the steam fair, beer festival and the road works on the A35, it'll be gridlocked by mid morning :doh:

                      Hope me boy makes it down before that, we'm planning on doing the steam fair, he knows the back roads to get here :)

                        It's still dry here and there's a brightness to the sky. The forecast is heavy rain, but we'll just have to wait and see. If it stays dry we'll take a little walk and if it rains we'll go to the local market and also visit friends.

                        Zigs, I hope it stays dry for your visit to the fair. :blue thumb:

                        Mrs Shiney says we have a whole load of washing to get done. So we'll pop it into the launderette down by the market as they do a very good service wash. They'll do the equivalent of two of our machine loads, which we have, for only £8. That includes washing, drying and folding neatly enough for most of the things not to need ironing. We'll take our own non-allergenic powder so as to look after my poor sensitive skin :lunapic 130165696578242 5: and it will all be ready by the time we've done our shopping. :)

                            Slept like a log last night for a change. Must get Amber out for her walk. Glad your foot held up while you were away Shiney. See it just doesn't like working at home!

                            Well we got our rain but I don't think we got as much as they promised but having said that I did sleep well last night! Have a good day everyone.

                              We've finally set off for Edinburgh, a little late but not to worry, I think work can now manage without me!
                              Nora the hen has a crop issue, mum & father in law dashed to bury for me to fetch some maggots, I just have to hope they do the trick, if not vets on Monday for meds.
                              It's a miserable wet day here, but I'm happy about that, I couldn't garden & nothing will dry out whilst I'm away!
