    Morning all

Cloudy and blustery here, with rain to come. Think summer has taken a few days off here

Fabulous pics Loli, sounds like a wonderful place you're in

Hope everyone is well, have a great day

      Morning early people :)

      Good duck Loli

      Same weather here Eve

Off to Thomas Hardy's gaff this morning, his take on summer was that it was more like Revelations

Have a good day everyone and always look both ways, even in a one way street :)

          Good morning my friends
I'm a bit of a grumpy moo this morning.....basically I need to give myself a kick up the bottom & get a grip! I'm really disappointed with my back boarder, I don't have much on flower & it's just looking drab.....obviously need to buy more plants & stop moaning!
So on a positive note, we've had goldfinches on the bird feeders this morning, they were quite young, their feathers were still a bit fluffy! :wub2:
@Lolimac I really enjoyed your photo....if you can't have hens to feed you may as well have ducks :heehee:. I hope you enjoy your break :hapydancsmil:
@shiney sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you, have fun.
@lost_in_france & @Zigs i can share my rain with you if you want, it's chucking it down here, prehaps if the sun comes out later it will speed up my next lot of flowers :fingers crossed:
Have a good day folks :)

@Beckie76 You can sort out the back border OK. As an example, this bed was full of 22 conifers four months ago. :blue thumb:

I've just cheered myself up a bit! I've bought two Ebbs Tide Roses for my boarder....a girl must shop :heehee:
@shiney your flowerbed looks great, thanks for the inspiration. :hapydancsmil:. I think a bit more retail therapy of the plant kind & sometime spent in the garden & I will be fine :), I won't be a grumpy moo for long something will make me laugh! :heehee:

Morning! Wow...some of you here are VERY early risers! [IMG]

Maybe I value my sleep more or need more. I find I can fit in all I need to do waking up around this time....possibly an indication of a less full-on gardener?

When I first came here, I mentioned buying plugs of tiny lupins and fuchsias that were in the hanging basket section of the garden centre. There was some debate about their size and it being a possible error...well, they have started to blossom and are indeed small. I will send a photo of them (in the appropriate section) when the weather is more favourable.
