      Another fine day today. The temperature at night drops quite a lot because of the clear skies but it gave me the opportunity to watch the Perseids at 3 a.m. :blue thumb:

      We're popping up to this place and shall have lunch, with friends, nearby. My old mate John Constable started painting the Haywain from this spot on the bank in 1820. I told him, at the time, that it would be popular! :thumbsup: :whistle:

          Good morning everyone, lovely morning this morning and because I took a couple of antihistamines at 4 am I am not so sneezy and snuffly this morning. Just taken Amber out for her walk and sniff around.

          LWW it is good to see you back we miss so many of our old friends like Kandy and others, I am sure she is still around somewhere. I hope all is well in your world.

          Lili, so sorry you too have had a down time. We just have to take the WOO bouncibility test and make ourselves G up. Not easy but he is a good teacher as is Shiney so push on and UPWARD is the motto. Take good care of you.

              Woken up after my siesta, as I had a busy day doing the boot sale. :snooze:

              Flippin' car has now got a condemned battery, so the money made today will
              be spent on Monday, putting that right. :noidea:

              Hope everyone has had a good day, I'm off to finish my homemade
              strawberry ice cream milkshake , :thumbsup: then shall help the OH to unload the car.:)

                        It was a superb lunch and worth the hour's drive each way. :blue thumb: The weather was sweltering and was close to 90F when we got home. :phew:

                        It's a nice cool 62F now and I hope it isn't too hot today. The sprinkler has been working overtime and we've still got big cracks in the flower beds! I finished trimming all the lawn edges at 9.30 p.m. as it was too hot earlier.

                        Busy day today with meetings. I'm waiting for sunrise so I can get out there to water the greenhouse, pots and baskets before getting off to my morning meeting. Should be home from that by 3 p.m. and then lots of paperwork to do. I'm a bit late in getting the publicity out for a tournament I'm running in October. :doh:
