        Aloha everyone,

We went out last night for a meal with friends and celebrated our 50 years of being very happily married. :wub2:

We had some ladies come round yesterday to collect a whole car full of greenery, plants and branches for the annual church flower festival and show, of a village 25 miles away. They always do a wonderful job of decorating their magnificent church. A few other church festivals are supplied by us but none of them are that far away. :)

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

                  Morning all :spinning:

Dragged my self out of bed, weary as hell. For 2 nights now, OH has been up
3 times each night, combined with my nocturnal and my dogs needs, I think
                  i need'nt bother going to bed.:snooze:

Heavy rain here at the moment, do not relish driving to Reading today, but
                  needs must. :thud:

My toast has nicely cooled down, so I am going to going and butter and
                  raspberry jam it.

Have a good and dry day:imphrt:

Good morning everyone, Shiney and H many congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary.

Lili, I feel for you as I suffer the same, up and down all night. Desperate for some sleep and my back and legs are killing me. Must take some ibuprofen.

Have a good day everyone and stay dry if you can.
                    God bless. :wub2:

                      Good Morning!

What a miserable morning it is, very dull here & very wet :th scifD36:, let's hope by the weekend it dries up :fingers crossed::SUNsmile:

I sat down with my cat last night & had a glass of wine & guess what....a blinking flea jumped off the cat :yikes:, it was quite big, luckily with a bit of chasing I managed to kill the dam thing, the cat has been 'frontlined!' & I'm about to spray the house with flea killer! :paladin:, since he's got old & doesn't go out so much I haven't been treating him as often as I did previously...just goes to show you mustn't put your guard down! :paladin:
Happy wedding anniversary to you @shiney & Mrs Shiney, I hope you have a lovely day :wub2:

@liliana please look after yourself today, I hope you can fit in a snooze later on. It's horrid to be tired. I hope everything goes well at the hospital today :grphg:

Enjoy your day folks,I hope you all get some sunshine this afternoon

                        Morning all :)

Congratulations on your anniversary @shiney - wishing you many, many more happy years to come.

Piddling down here this morning, although not as heavy as yesterday thankfully; we had left the gazebo up intending to use it pretty much all the time, but there was apparently a deluge whilst we were out buying our new car that reduced our gazebo to a sorry looking collapsed and twisted thing. I think the water must have collected in pools on the fabric (I had emptied three large pools of water that were sitting on the fabric on Monday) which was a surprise as it is not supposed to be waterproof.

It looks as though a couple of legs have buckled under the weight of water and the wind has finished the job - I might be able to salvage it by cutting off a few inches of each leg (thankfully the damage is at the very top of the legs), failing that it is a new one before our family gathering at the weekend.

@liliana and @moyra - hope you both feel better soon, and look after yourself.

Hope everyone has a great day :)

What a nice offer @shiney, thank you. In fairness, we don't have a good track record with gazebos - - we had a nice pop up one a few years back and took it down in a mega hurry just as a storm was blowing in, and in our haste we knackered the frame, and now this one less than a week after buying it (thankfully it was only £20, but it is still annoying)

                              Oh dear!

If there's a sufficient pitch on the roof and the fabric is pulled tight then it shouldn't have allowed water to accumulate. :heehee:

Hi everyone, Got a horrible phone call this morning from someone saying that my computer had been hacked. She kept on wanting 'to help me'. I told her it was a scam but then I knew I had experienced the blue screen of death just lately several times so phoned my nephew who is into computers and he advised me to run malware bytes through the system which I have done and am now hoping that deleting all those threats and files will have resolved the problem, but I shall not hold my breath. The machines seems to be working better. Hope everyone has had a good day. I have got wet walking Amber but not that she cares. Have a good evening all, Goodnight.
                                God Bless.:wub2:
