Afternoon all,

Moyra..I hope you've got your feet up..I think the Dr's thinking is if you were in the hospital you wouldn't get chance to over do things,we're all the same,too tempted to just try and do this or that when you need to rest.Hope you're not fretting over Amber,she's a good girl and is probably willing you better as much as we are..If only you we just around the corner I'd be there like a shot you'd probably be glad to be in hospital then...Keep comfortable Moyra

Well I won't be sat outside with a cuppa tea this morning...the weather has taken a turn again but it's nice to think we've got more of that sunshine to look forward to soon...My thinking is...if I whizz round doing the housework on days like this then there's more time to get out there when the sun is shining ...

Morning everyone,

One foot more or less ok but the other still very swollen and red. My UTI doesn't seem to be bothering me too much other than the difficulty of getting to the bathroom fairly quickly. The COPD was bad last night I do not think my ventilator is doing much good. Anyway nuff of me how are all you folk doing. It would be nice to start to get out into the garden now and start things off.

Good morning folks, another sunny one down here in Medway, think I'm working today, not sure yet - first day back in three weeks after hurting my back - think both Phil and I will be glad of the break from each other - I know how bad that sounds to you all with him being bed bound and stuff, but we are both very straight talking folks and it has worked well in our relationship being that we've only had 3 arguments in 7 years. Phils from Belfast and I'm from Newcastle, two places not usually known for flowery fluffy speaking! Anyway, my big news is I've just bought one of those new latex/nylon scrunchy hoses - has anybody got one? Hope mine comes tomorrow. Moyra, you are really going through it, I wish you well and hope everybody has a fab day - nearly the weeknd - yay!!

Following on from Shiney not remembering things, I really thought I'd posted this morning but it seems I didn't - oops!

Greenhouse didn't turn up yesterday. OH phoned them this morning and was told it was damaged in transit so they've ordered another one which should be here in 3 weeks. Hmmm. Would have been nice of them to tell us beforehand so I didn't have to stay in all day yesterday waiting for it. Oh well. It's been gorgeous weather here the past few days so I've got loads done in the garden. Rain forecast for tomorrow though

Lynda - that doesn't sound bad at all. Being bed bound doesn't mean your personalities have changed. You might have to adapt to circumstances but you're still the same people and whatever works for you both is right.

Sending more good thoughts to Moyra. Mrs Shiney is right - do try the Apple cider vinegar with mother if you can. It certainly won't do you any harm.
