Good morning all, hope we had a good night. There is very little going on here today, I did my back in again yesterday, no idea how because I was careful, it's not major or anything, infact Ibuprofen knocks out the pain, but if need to be careful as I honestly don't know how I would manage Phil. Anyway, I have made a major moan out of a minor complaint - apologies x
My sunflowers have germinated and are haring away - I hope they don't get too leggy as they look very healthy just now - I love stuff that germinates quickly (I'm childish in that respect, lol)
Hope it's a good day for everybody - my RHS magazine "The Garden" has arrived so I think I will get stuck into that for a while

I've just had a thought Shiney...You're maybe at that 'funny' age,I've been just the same for a few years now;)...:blue thumb:

Woo...I've been singing 'There'll always be an England' all day at work,it also got a few of the residents singing away too:wub2:...We had to tone it down a little though because one day every month we have a 'cruise' day. It's themed on a different country each month where the residents try authentic dishes ,listen to music and get into the spirit of the countries where the 'ship docks'..Turns out we were in Italy today so it didn't bode well half a dozen of us singing 'There'll always be an England' at the top of our voices:heehee:

Take care everyone and have a relaxing evening:SUNsmile:

Anyone else got any remedies for Gout? The Apple Cider Vinegar isn't working and I have had Cherry juice today but still no remedy! I have phoned the docs. I have to go for the test for my COPD next Monday and I have to phone the doc again tomorrow to see if I can have some more colchincine.

Have a good evening everyone. God bless, night night.:wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

Moyra, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble with gout. I hope it gets sorted soon. :wub2:

I'm still improving slowly and shall attempt to have a wander round the garden today. I need to do that so that I can admire all the tidying that Mrs Shiney has been doing out there. :) I'll take the camera with me so I can record what's started flowering.

As they forecast rain from about 10 a.m. I need to get out there before that. It's too dark to tell whether it's raining already (don't do nose out the door or hand out the window :heehee:).

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

Moyra ..I know that cold compresses on the affected area is said to relieve symptoms a little, which is what you're already doing and to drink plenty of water otherwise I think it' it's a waiting game for the symptoms to subside,I just read between 7 to 10 days but I'm sure it varies .I hope you're getting over the worst.Keep your feet elevated when you can:thumbsup:

                        Morning early people :)

Hope everyone is getting better :)

Sounds like somethings in the air here, seagulls, stoggies and magpies going off all around, the geese are flying south east, which probably means they're going down to Abbotsbury swannery for a free feed :snork:

Have a good day everyone and don't sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me :)

                          Morning all

Dull and dreary and drizzly here again. Anyone have any spare sun they can send me? Would like the sea of mud my garden has become to dry out a bit. The manic munchkins have churned up the 'lawn' but they have such fun and that's more important to me than a bit of grass. It was never that good in the first place anyway.

Hope you enjoy your wander round the garden Shiney and pleased you're feeling up to it

Sorry you're still suffering Moyra. Fingers crossed it clears soon

                          How's your back today Lynda?

Sending good thought to everyone for a happy and fun filled day.
