    Morning All...

We had heavy rain through the night and now that has stopped The Parrots are in fine voice this morning and will be let out once I have taken the dog for a walk.

I still have not tidied my shed but perhaps later as better weather is forecast.

    Have a great Thursday Everyone

    Cheers

    Nigel

Morning folks. Hope everybody is on the mend today as the days get brighter and warmer. Thank you @lost_in_france back is a little better today, usually if I take it easy ie no lifting when it starts playing up I can catch it pretty quickly, although as you can imagine, that's difficult in the summer when I want to move things about in the garden. Luckily for me, my son is a body builder, so I formulate a list of jobs for when he visits :roflol:

Today I'm meeting my friend for coffee and going to Aldi as the new plug plants arrive on a Thursday. They are usually lovely and healthy, but after a few days look very poorly as they never water them - they come on a gel base though and in a little mini greenhouse, which I then recycle for germinating seeds.

Hope everybody has a great day. If you're in the South East, apparently we are getting some sun tomorrow - holding out for that! :dancy::hapfeet::dancy:

Bet you don't itch and bite at your skin though;)

Woo...I did keep singing:thumbsup: I have a trait where if I get a tune in my head I can't stop:doh:...even getting out of the car at the shops on the way home from work I was humming said tune...I didn't even realise I was doing it:rolleyespink: I got distracted by a chaps voice saying "by 'eck I haven't heard that for a long while,marvellous"...I think now I'm weaned off it but after just reading Ziggys morning post it's set me off again:doh:

"Don't sit under the Apple tree"
Before today my friends at work have unbeknown to me played a trick on me and started singing tunes and had bets on how long it would take to 'set' me off:heehee:...

Suns shining folks, hope it is where you are:SUNsmile::thumbsup:

Indeed - A Owl! He's black, with sparkles on. Phil said he looks like a Halloween mask! I will post his pic tomorrow. He's in repose at present. When I say he's in repose, he's half way up the stairs in the stair lift - his resting place of choice for his first night home :roflol:

Good morning everyone, foot back in the cold water bowl again. I am hoping it is a lot better this morning. I had a bad night with it but it had a fair bit of ibuprofen rubbed into it overnight! Hoping to get my prescription this morning but will not hold my breath. I discovered from a friend last night that I must leave cheese and dairy products alone as they make it worse, now they tell me!

I hope all the bad coughs and colds, backs etc are all on the mend and that everyone's feeling better. Have a good day all, take care, stay safe, dry and warm and above all well,
                            God bless. :wub2:

                              Morning All...

Its bright and dry but a little fresh here. I think we will be getting quite a lot of sun today.

I got to walk the dog soon and then clean the parrots out. Then I have a trip to Tesco, I feel a curry coming on.

I hope to do more tidying/sorting outside when I get back but it dont look too bad right now anyway.

                              Have a great Friday Everyone

                              Cheers
