          Morning All...

Its pretty fresh here this morning but at least the wind has died down a bit.

I dont have anything special planned for today but no doubt something will arise and I will be able to amuse myself. I have some pruning to do if it stays dry.

          I hope everyone stays well

          Have a great Monday Everyone

          Cheers

          Nigel

          @Lolimac We can't have that! :hate-shocked: :cry3:

Tell them that your work is cancelled this year. Otherwise we'll send the GC pickets to protest outside. :)

              Morning all

Was a glorious sunny start to the day but half way through the morning dog walk the heavens opened and rain and hail came lashing down. Cue two staffies (those rough, tough devil dogs) diving into the middle of a hedge and refusing to come out till the nasty wet stuff had stopped and a bemused woman looking out of her window wondering why I was playing tug of war with her hedge :heehee:

Good luck at the docs Moyra, hope your tests go well and they can also come up with something to cure the gout.

Hope everyone has a great day

Morning all. Poor @moyra really hope doc can help today x thinking of you x Market day in town today. Plant man hasn't made an appearance all winter, hoping he will be there today. Meeting friend for coffee and then picking up my fruit for the week as there is a huge stall on a Monday (I'm just thinking this post should be in the boring thread :roflol:) Anyway, nothing of any great interest or importance to say today, apart from you're a lovely bunch of folks and I love being part of this forum. Enjoy your day everybody x x x ps so many crocus on the mega doggy walk yesterday. They make me feel like spring has arrived!

Good Morning my gardening friends! I hope everyone is feeling well, those of you who have been poorly I hope you are feeling better?
I've had a brilliant weekend! I've done all the weeding, finished planted up most of the plants I've bought this year, bought & fitted some new shelves in my shed, hubby has started clearing out his shed & workshop, I Pricked out my Aldi bedding plants & had a sweep up! Just behind/beside my shed to finish now then I should be fairly clear. The front garden still has a bit of junk in it but I think a skip for the Easter break will get rid of that.
I've not got anything in my veggie patch yet but I've put some cloaches over the soil to warm it. I love this time of year it's great. I'm passing a garden centre later so may pop in if I have time
I hope everyone has a good day, try to keep out of the wind & keep warm, it's blowing a gale here. :blue thumb:

Hi Beckie - I too have the Aldi plugs. They are very good, aren't they. Sadly, I forgot about the Asters and everyone died :0( I have the petunias, double petunias and lobelia and they're all looking just fine though. They also have loads of seeds at 39p a packet, so got some of those as well :)

                          Aloha everyone,

Woo, we wish you a lot better :grphg:

Moyra, we hope you get better soon :wub2:

I'm gradually improving but Mrs Shiney is a bit rough

I had to go out in the garden yesterday to sort out the things that had been blown over by the wind. Even the bird feeder had blown over so I had to repair it as well. The pheasants just stood around waiting until I'd fixed it :)

I, also, tried to continue with putting up the deer deterrent bags but it was much too windy down by the field. The wind made it too cold to work there and it was difficult to breathe. The wind has dropped now so I'll try again.

                          Have a great day

                          Aloha!
