I think it is great that your husband gathers a bit of strenght to get up, with your help...it is not the easiest thing to do, I am sure, but his quality of life and morals will get a definite boost!

 

Seems like it has been a good news day (Pity WOO didn't find his ring it would have clinched it)
I actually got my old shoes on today and walked Amber a wee way. I also went down to Tesco got some photos taken for my blue badge renewal application and sent it off so am well pleased.

I hope H's appointment went well Shiney and Lynda hope Phil enjoyed his sit out in the sun, that is real progress.

I've just had to traipse down to the chicken run to thank Lily and tell her what a clever girl she is...she's just laid an egg and wants to tell the world and his wife all about it,she won't shut up until I talk to her

Moira - slo and steady is the way forward, I always remember my dads saying when I was a kid "more haste, less speed" didn't know what it meant then, I do now!

Shiney and Mrs S - you've really been through the mill haven't you. Brighter days are ahead for you both. Take care of yourselves and each other (I sound like Jeremy Kyle there!)

Loli - how sweet is that? Bless Lily, clever little girl. They really do want to tell the world don't they? When B goes out in the morning he likes to announce to everybody that he's up and about.mim so lucky to have fabulous neighbours!

Somebody knocked my door yesterday and asked if I owned a black and white cat as there was one lying dead up the street. It wasn't mine or anybody I know, so I brought him home and informed the cat protection shop (all cat enquiries go there) and put posters in my window. I then phoned the vets and they were very kind, they said if I took him up to them they would clean him up and put him on ice for a fortnight and scan him etc to see if they could track down the owners, which I thought was really kind. Somebody will be terribly upset, I know I would be. Bless him.

Still haven't had my gardening day due to Phils renewed vigour! Never mind though, we can't have it all, eh? Need to get upstairs and water everything though, those shelves really are gonna come through the ceiling soon.

Upstairs, spinach, beet root, tomatoes, peas and beans are all raising their lovely little heads!

My friend threatened to take Baldrick on holiday to The Caribbean today, so I rustled up a photo of him waiting to be collected. Hope it makes you smile x

Shiney, Hope H is feeling much better for her bit of sunbathing yesterday. Yes my foot is getting there and I can now wear my old shoes that are well stretched. I gave Amber a couple of walks yesterday and am about to take her out again now. Beautiful morning out there.
