      Aloha everyone,

      It's another sunny day

I hope all of you that are under the weather get better quickly. Nigalius, take it easy and get better soon.

Too late! I've done a Woo! :snork: I spent most of the day working hard in the garden. Edging, weeding, three hours of mowing, two hours of pressure hosing (including doing the bird feeder, stone bench and Rosemary) and then hosed down all of the front of the summerhouse and cleaned the four French doors and two glass panels on the front of it. :old:  :heehee:

I want to do some more pressure hosing today but I'll see how my back goes.

I made half a gallon of veggie soup at 5 a.m. this morning and have just had a bowl full. Yum Yum. :blue thumb:

      Have a great day

      Aloha!

Good morning folks. Well. @shiney has put me to shame and it's not even 9am! Made half a gallon of soup? I've just staggered to the kitchen and could barely make a cup of coffee, but at least I'm ahead of Phil who hasn't even opens his eyes yet :0)

So sorry to hear another couple of us are under the weather, I wish everybody well and hope you can take it easy over the weekend x

It's much colder here today, but still bright. I beyond hate grey days, to the point where Phil bought me a SAD lamp, which, I have to admit, did help a bit.

I potted up all my little Tomato seedlings yesterday and I'm going to venture upstairs to make sure they haven't keeled over and died on me, I will be devastated if they have, lol. I usually work on a Saturday, but not today, so will potter around my plants and interfere with them when it's not really necessary I suppose. Happy Saturday everybody. Enjoy your weekend x

@LyndaG You haven't been on here long enough to know about me :). The others have got used to it. I rarely sleep and get about a couple of hours in the armchair in the early hours. I haven't been to bed for almost two years. :old:

              Morning all

Chilly here too but sunny, and really pleasant when the icy wind drops

Your way ahead of me Lynda, I only got round to sowing some tomato seeds this morning. Sowed a couple of cucumber seeds too.

Off out shopping for paving stones this afternoon, my life is so rock and roll :heehee:

Sending 'get well soon' vibes to all those who need them.

              Have a lovely Saturday everyone

I am a bad sleeper too. I tend to lay awake and listen to the radio most of the night. But at least I am resting in my bed. Have a good evening everyone, Goodnight,
                  God bless. :wub2:

                      Aloha everyone,

I hope all those of you that are under the weather get some metaphorical, and actual sunshine today .

My virus appears to have disappeared :heehee: and my foot is almost completely better :hapydancsmil:. Of course, that means I've been overdoing things in the garden so my back isn't too good :doh:but I don't have any trouble with it when I'm standing or walking. :)

Loli, do you clip their wings? Mrs Shiney used to do that with her bantams as they were too nosey about the neighbours' gardens!

Mrs Shiney has students today so I'm going to need to start prepping the lunch soon. It's going to be a veggie Rendang curry. Not in the traditional Indonesian style (as it's veggie) but more in the Malaysian style. As a veggie curry it needs the coconut milk to be fairly runny whereas the traditional meat dish is cooked for hours until the curry is dry. I use a thick (75%) coconut milk so that it's not too runny but does look more like a Thai curry.

                      Have a great day

                      Aloha!

So glad you're back on form Shiney and really pleased the foot is healed:dancy:...Hope Mrs S is feeling better too:thumbsup:

Re..Wing clipping...I used to clip their wings but these chooks seem quite 'grounded' apart from Fern who does have a tendancy to take off from one side of the garden and clumsily bounces across the lawn,I don't think she'll go too far though ,she's frightened incase she's missing something:biggrin:...

Morning folks x @shiney and @wiseowl I cannot begin to understand how you even manage to stand upright with so little sleep! I definitely admire it, I need more hours in the day, lol, but cannot get to grips with it at all. I am more from the @Lolimac style myself. Although Baldrick dictates what time I wake up which of course gets earlier as the days get lighter. The irritating thing is with my pets, everybody gets me up, which of course wakes Phil, then they all go back to sleep for as long as they want......

Hope our sick folk are continuing to make progress and will all be on their feet again soon x

Will be seeing my son later today,he's coming to take me to dinner for Mothers Day, so really looking forward to that. Hope all the Mums on here have a really lovely day and a chance to rest up if you want it x

@shiney what time should we all be there for that curry please? I'm hungry already!
