Moyra...I expect you'll ache all over due to your gout,I know that sounds odd but I think with having trouble walking we tend to tense up and hold our selves differently and over compensate with other parts of our bodies.(that sounds barmy reading it back but I know what I mean) take it steady

I'm going to move mountains today...I must get my Buxus planted and the 100 Tulips planted in my parterre that I've been growing in pots and had hiding in my veg patch from the Squirrels and the chooks until they got to a reasonable size.I'm hoping the 'girls' will ignore them... Don't know who I'm trying to kid

@moyra sorry to hear that you are still in pain. I think none of us realise how important our health is until something strikes you down. Living with pain on a daily basis is soul destroying and I hope you get a break soon x

@Lolimac That chicken is very cute, bless her. I sooo wish I could have some chickens that would get up to mischief and do funny things like yours and @Beckie76 do. I never, ever realised they were such charachters until I came on here! Hope you have a lovely day x

@Beckie76 I at last got to Aldi, I hope you did also? I didn't buy any fruit shrubs, but I dragged a bag of compost home in the trolley and bought more seeds. It's a new week now so I eagerly await Thursdays haul! I literally have no space left now. I have 50 tomato plants on the go just now, there is only Phil and I in the house and he doesn't eat tomatoes. I'm sorted for tomatoes this year! If there happens to be a national tomato shortage in 2015 I extend an open invite to you all to live in Chateau Chaos until they are all gone. Then you'll have to go home again. Sorry, but it's a small house and there are a lot of you

Thank you for your good wishes re my knee - it's on the mend, slowly, I'm trying to take care of it as I start the 5x50 challenge next week and it needs to be reasonable recovered for that.

It's a beautiful day here, the sun is shining & it's so bright, I might be sulking just a small amount because I'm at work!
@Lolimac Willow is so cute, she looks very happy in the kitchen! .
@moyra I hope you are feeling better & are able to get your shoes on & manage a walk.
@LyndaG oh yes I managed at last to get my Aldi plant fix!!!! I'm feeling much better about it! I got a black current & another red gooseberry, I also got 2 packs of strawberry plants, I needed a few more of those!!! I can't believe how cheap they are, Im already counting the days to Thursday! Hubby says I have OCD with plants from Aldi!! He obviously doesn't understand!
Ive not sown my tomato plants yet that's this weeks job, I'm going to have to put some plants in the spare bedroom the porch & kitchen are full . Oh hens Lynda, they are bonkers in a nice way if you ever had the chance to have some they are well worth it. I never knew how much I could love a chicken until I got my hens, each one has its own personality & cheeky habits!
