Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY...!! 2015

Hi everyone,

Just had Steve replacing my plastic covered greenhouse, the last one lasted a number of years but I cannot see this one lasting as long.

Oh well I managed to walk Amber with the mobility scooter lunchtime took her a good couple of miles but now it is time to take her out on the green again and my feet are playing up. I take a couple of paracetamol, hopefully that will help. Have a good afternoon all. God bless.

Good evening folks..Hope everyone is having a good day so far..its been a mixture of weather here today sunshine and showers,even a bit of hail thrown in lol...Done nothing in the garden this weekend,still feeling stressed out with loosing a good friend of mine a few weeks back..Enjoy the rest of your evening folks

 

Oh golly Autumn Bliss I'm really sorry to read that you have lost a good friend, I'm thinking of you at this sad time.
Your friend wouldn't want you to be feeling stressed out I'm sure, try to focus on all the lovely times you had together, I'm sure that's what your friend would say to you given the chance.
. Do let us know if there's anything we can do to help sometimes just talking/typing about the person helps.

Good morning everyone,

What a cracker of a morning it even feels a bit milder too
I managed to get a fair bit done yesterday out there,still need to get the rest of the Tulips in.I also had to lift a Hebe and Olearia to get the hedge in, they're plonked in pots looking confused They're probably thinking "Now where's she going to put us" the jury is still out on that one...Ended up with a 'spring' blister on the palm of my handI always get them at this time of the year when the real gardening work starts...give it a few weeks and my hands with be as tough as Rhino skin
I put a temporary fence up round my parterre to keep the 'girls' out until I get time to do a neater version at the weekend.Rosie is not a happy chook,she was marching up and down and shoulder charging it...I feel sorry for the Tulips...

I think @Beckie76 has already said exactly what I would have said to you and we need to focus on the good memories that we have. I wish you peace x x

@Beckie76 - sadly, at this time of year, I live from Thursday to Thursday, the days inbetween are just an inconvenience! Only two more sleeps and we're off!!

I am going to do some housework today. I absolutely LOVE doing housework (said nobody, ever!) but it has to be done at some point. Today is as good as any as it's grey and wet out there. Roll on April!

@moyra - how are things today? Glad to see you have a scooter to get around. I bet Amber tries to get on it when she's tired? Hope today is a better day for you x

Good morning Loli. I misread your post. I thought you said "I put up a temporary fence up around my PARTNER" I thought it was a brilliant idea and have been to buy some wood to fence Phil in when I realised my mistake..........

 

Good morning folks, beautiful sunny day here, I'm stuck at work , the only God send is there's a chilly wind so I'd only get cold if I was in the garden!! ...who am I trying to convince!!!
@Lolimac ive also had to fence a flowerbed off, Nora has been pacing the perimeter shouting as loud as she can! Honestly it's like a comedy show in the garden with those girls! Hubby let them out just after 5.30 this morning & apparently they ran straight to the back door & wanted to come in for treats! @LyndaG just 2 more sleeps
& counting! Have you decided what you are going to buy? I've not checked for next weeks plant offers yet I'm slacking! Too excited about the veg!
@wiseowl i do hope you are on the road to recovery, plenty of rest & not too much flying at night & I'm sure you will soon feel better.

Afternoon all

Get well soon thoughts to Woo and Moyra's foot. Hope everyone else is fighting fit.

Haven't had much chance to get on here over the past few days as Dad wasn't very well. Back home now though.

Made a start on clearing a border of weeds out the front this morning but rain has stopped play for now. Hopefully will ease off soon and I can get back out and finish it off.

@LyndaG @Beckie76...You two have got me intrigued ,I might have to have a visit to Aldi myself..There is a store not far from me and I don't think I've ever been in itI'm at work this Thursday but will try to get there next week.I hope you two aren't leading me astray

It's been glorious here such a treatdid a fair bit of pottering and baking and mucking the chooks out,it's been roasting in the GH but I've just shut up shop as it's suddenly turned really chilly.So that's me done for the day
