Good morning my forum friends, it's a glorious day here the sun is shining, we have a few grey clouds but I've told them to clear off!
I had to take Little B to the vets again yesterday her egg peretonitious has returned again, poor dear, she has more anti biotic injections so we just have to hope they clear it again
We got on well in the garden yesterday cleared a lot of junk & made a pile for the tip/skip. We cut up a lot of wood for the fire next year & stacked that in the woodshed, still quite a lot more sorting to do in the front garden but it's better than it was. I know I've done it I was so stiff this morning . I've planted up all my pots & baskets but after my trip to Aldi yesterday I could do with a few more pots! You can never have enough can you??
@shiney im sorry to hear you are a bit stiff this morning....thank goodness it was just your leg . I hope the swelling goes down & you can get on in the garden today
@Lolimac thank goodness your cold didn't develop, but fancy giving it to your hubby, on a serious note I hope he soon feels better, why do we all get ill when we are off work & have a jobs list?

@Beckie76 ...Poor little B...it can be a recurring problem for them I'm afraid if they're that way inclined...I usually do the 'steam bath' approach...fill a bowl full of hot water and hold her vent above the steam ,far enough away so she doesn't get burnt by it,then lots of cudgey cooing and chatter to keep them happy....It isn't a cure but does relieve the symptoms a little.

Shiney as you know when wounds start to heal they do tighten up,must be really uncomfortable ....If you get chance to have a sit down put it up and wiggle your toes

My Yorkshire pudding mix is 'resting' so if you can't beat them join them that's my excuse anyway

Hi everyone, lovely pic of the girls Loli. It has been a better day today. No problem with the gout now Shiney since I bought some UriciPlex (Yucca schidigera) Brilliant stuff and any sign of it coming back then I take the colchicine as a back up. I have ordered to more UriciPlex of Amazon that should keep me going. I still have the shoulder problem and my knees were bad today but once I can get some exercise outdoors then hopefully I should lose some weight and that will help the old joints. Shiney, I hope your leg soon improves.

Well, times getting on so I shall have to sort myself and make a move as I am getting chilled sitting here. This flat is colder inside than it is outside! Have a good evening all, Goodnight, God bless.

Was sunny first thing but it's clouded over now and turned very chilly. Meant to be a nice afternoon though so hopefully get to sit in the sun for a while later

Boulder is still rolling around my eye. No doctors or opticians are open over the bank holiday weekend, and it's not bad enough for A&E, so OH got me some optrex eyewash from the pharmacy but it hasn't done any good. It's irritating more than painful but if it hasn't gone by tomorrow I'll see if I can get to the docs

Good morning all, i had to nip into work this morning but back now , on my way out the woodpecker was pecking away at a coconut feeder, no sign of his wife! Hopefully they will both return later.
We are hoping to paint the front of the house this afternoon & finish the fences weather permitting, it's a bit overcast here after a very bright & sunny start.
I got loads done in the garden yesterday, I feel like I've made really good progress.....shame about the house , I need to hoover & dust but I can't do that if the weather is nice!
@Lolimac thanks for that tip, I will give that ago, Little B is much brighter today, she spent most of yeaterday scratching around for grubs in the garden, as we moved & cut up wood for next years fires she ate all the worms etc!
@shiney I'm pleased to hear your leg is improving, please go steady in the garden I'd hate for you to upset it again.
@lost_in_france theres several different optrex eye drops, I use the itchy eyes & infected eye drops, & also the eye wash with the eye bath, I wonder if you need a diferent one? So sorry it's still giving you grief
. @ LyndaG are you ok? I'm wondering if you are stuck in the spare room under a mountain of Aldi plants .
