Hi everyone, the gazebo is no more. Does mean the washing I have out on the line is vulnerable to a sudden shower if it happens. I have loaded the gazebo and the old greenhouse frame into the car ready for the tip tomorrow. Shall not go today as it will be crazy down there. Steve has pulled his weight this morning and I offered to pay him but he's said it is as much his home as mine so at last he may be seeing things my way!

I do wish I had not had all my hair chopped about and permed it has gone like wire wool and I have had to buy treatments to rehydrate it. I am sure it will soon grow out again. I have always had greasy hair that needed washing every couple of days but people tell me the more you wash the more it will generate oil. Anyway lovely day here so I shall be taking Amber out with Blue my mobility scooter for a run. It will be good for her, she has been putting on weight lately! Haven't we all.

Well friends do hope you all achieve what you set out to do today, am quite pleased with our achievements. I wish Steve would take payment it would be easier for me to ask him to do things. I had to ask him if he wanted to earn money today or did he have friends that would be interested. We both worked on the gazebo together and then while I put the washing on and vacuumed around the flat he continued to do a bit of a clear up of the patio and around the garden.

Feel happier now a lot of the work is done. If it is nice again tomorrow may get the lawn cut and then treated in a day or two. Must get some new hinges for the gate that fences off the patio so that Amber can not walk in the mud from the grass areas which are soaking at the moment and also she can do her necessaries on the patio where I can clean it up and flush it with disinfectant as needed.

Well have a good afternoon all and do not overdo things (esp. Shiney and WOO) .
      God bless :wub2:

          That's very well done :yahoo:

It grows at approx. half an inch a month.

That's not quite true :blue thumb:. The only difference it makes is that when you wash it you're massaging your scalp and that produces a minute amount more of sebum, but no appreciable difference.
You can wash it as often as you like but use a conditioning shampoo, or shampoo for permed hair. If you wash it every day (I wash mine every day) you just use less shampoo. I use less than half a teaspoon full each day. If you're washing your hair frequently it doesn't need the traditional second wash. :)

Lol, Woo and Shiney! I am sure my hair will grow again fairly quickly. I got some herbal essences hydration cream and although I haven't had a chance to wash my yet today which I am about to do. I did try some of it on my hair and it made it feel so much better. I took Amber out with Blue for a long run around and she is not flopped out bless her. So if I can run a bath and then wash my hair as well before cooking Gammon Steaks and Pineapple for dinner tonight then I shall feel much better. The afternoon is going well and I do hope everyone is enjoying the work they are doing in the garden.............now off for my bath. Catch up with you later. God bless.:wub2:

@wiseowl do you understand the phrase that Moyra has written? It doesn't seem to mean anything in my vocabulary! :heehee:

Today I've cut new edges to 100ft of veg plot and done half a wheelie bin of weeding. Just had a cuppa and am going back out to mow. :blue thumb:

Moyra, you seem to be getting on well :dbgrtmb:.

I've got left over roast chicken and shall have it with jacket potatoes and cauli. I may knock up some veggie samosas as starts and I shall have three lots of dessert one hour apart - fresh grapefruit, fresh mango and apple crumble.

I am glad to see you really cheerful Moyra. :spinning: There are plenty of nutritious masks to apply to your hair. Things like egg, honey, different oils, nettle water etc
But the best favour you can do to your hair is a healthy, light diet, and give any kind of massage to the scalp will do good.
I am pleased that Steve is giving you a hand. Take care!

                              Aloha everyone,

Loli, I hope you can escape Mr Loli's cold :grphg:

Yesterday started off frosty but quickly changed to a sunny day with 60F. today has started off the same.

Although my leg is slowly healing I have another problem with it. I can't get the pressure stocking on because of the wound and my foot and ankle has swollen badly so it's a bit painful and difficult to get a shoe on! I going to try and cut down a stocking but will need to find some fairly thick, but soft, material to stop the top edge cutting into me. :rolleyespink: I have Mrs Shiney working on the idea. :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

                              Aloha!
