Listening to our local radio gardening show at the moment, always an interesting programme. Both presenters have the nasty cold/cough that is going round and have to keep moving away from the microphone for a quick cough or blow of their noses; bless

The day is misty and dank so I don't think I'll be going far today, plenty to be getting on with indoors anyway.

A bit bleary eyed this morning.

Just an appointment to take OH to see Podiatrist about his toe again, see what's
happened underneath this dressing. Hopefully OH will feel a bit better.

I finally got around to cleaning a small area in the kitchen, a couple of cupboards, and the
filter in the cooker hood .

7.5C here, I might wear my shorts today! The sky has been beautiful this morning, pale pink, pale blue with white clouds, the full moon has only just disappeared behind a cloud. It's very damp but at least it's not raining.

Damp & overcast here, but the birds are singing & the hens are knocking their beaks on the patio doors! I suspect they want some hen food mixed with warm water! Anyone would think my hens are spoilt!

The girls are being pushed around the garden by the wind and make a very funny sight indeed no doubt they will seek refuge in their coop before the wind gets much stronger.

@moyra - grr! It can be so frustrating when the computer plays up. Maybe its time to get a techie to look at it?

Funny you should say that ... in the book I'm currently reading, the "speaker" refers to advice he was given: always *fix* your face before you leave the house. Now, I always thought that was aimed at women and to make sure their make-up was fixed Fancy getting to my ripe age before the penny finally dropped
