Yawn, Yawn, Wakey Wakey!! 2016

I make custom draperies and roman shades and slip covers and cushion covers and on and on but no clothing. I call my wee company the House Dressing because I dress houses not people I will once in awhile make clothes but only for personal or family use...

I usually have 10 or 12 obsolete sample books per quarter and I give them and leftover fabrics to a friend whose group make hand bags and shopping bags which they sell and then use the proceeds to buy quilting fabric which they use to make quilts for people with cancer. They make a quilt a week using the funds from my fabric donations. I usually purchase at least 1/2 yard extra fabric for each project (out of my own money) and every 3 or 4 months I load up her car with these. I also receive hanging samples donated by Robert Allen Fabrics. Sometimes there are literally cases of them. You'd have fun in my workrooms. My industrial machines go like race cars on jet fuel

Shadow got me up, needing the loo, so I decided to feed him as well.

So then I thought I would look on the computer, and the time just flies by

Bad night, back pain, did not drop off until around 2am.

So another day starts.

I'm an early riser today too (been up since 3am ) but it does mean that I've managed to complete another project I've been working on Not that there was any hurry, but it's always nice to get another job out of the way.

Ozzy's limp seems to have gone now but he's taking advantage of my sympathetic nature (and my being in the office) to make himself comfy on *my* bed Cheeky sausage! Haven't the heart to move him at the moment though

I'm out for lunch today so that will be a nice treat
