    Good day everyone
Had a pleasant time at the care show yesterday. Forgot my camera or I might have had something for the photo competition as there were all kinds of vintages at the show.

My friend ended up for a brief stay at the hospital and luckily I got to call that he was just being taken there at almost precisely the moment we walked through the door after the show. My car's wheels are off being refurbished, my carrier is away with one son for the weekend and I don't drive OH's truck so I ended up taking the Cadillac CTS-V to the hospital. Drove manual transmission there and back without stalling or holding back traffic. The only nasty part was the parking fee

Going to a picnic with my girlfriends and promised to bake the burger buns so i must get downstairs and get things going.:)

Have a safe day all :)

      Good evening,

I don't seem to be finding the time to get on here as much as I'd like at the moment....I must try harder.

I've not got much gardening done either! It's been really windy today & I seem to have felt a bit under par the last few days, I hope I'm just tired, I just couldn't get myself going after work & grocery shopping. I hope you are all well & getting on with your gardens.

It's raining here thank goodness, my poor garden is so dryv& too hard to dig! Hopefully it will rain all night & do some good.

Kevs cr@p pile at the front is improving, he's using the wood to build a log store, I'm not going to let you see the mess but once the log store is built & full I will share some photos.

Night night sleep tight & watch the bed bugs don't bite! Xx

Look after yourself @Beckie76 Sometimes other things get in the way of coming on forums. I've just missed about a week myself. Such is life :noidea:

            Aloha everyone,

It rained a little bit more in the night so, with a bit of luck, I'll be able to get working on digging out more pernicious weeds in the areas that were too dry and inaccessible before. It's amazing how many really nasty weeds have been hiding beneath the shrubs and perennials. Now that Mrs Shiney is cutting all those back the weeds are being revealed. There's lots of strawberry weed that I've been having difficulty in getting out

We were out, yesterday, visiting friends and had a lovely time. :blue thumb:

today will be busy continuing to prepare for the horticultural and flower show. @Zigs we might even enter some Bridgewater beans in the show if they fit a category

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

                  Morning early people :)

Toothache not so bad this morning, still swollen up though :hate-shocked:

I'm entering them under French Beans, on account of Louise XIV once visiting Bridgwater to buy some replacement tiles for Versailles :)

Have a good day everyone :)

We have a category of 'three specimens of three different vegetables'. I'm thinking that we may do three of each of runners, yellow French and Bridgewater. They're different veg as far as I'm concerned.

I'll check how the courgettes are going (don't think they are of a similar size ) and chillies (must be able to find three that look the same from the hundreds we've got).

We won't be using the Bridgwater beans as the three veggies will be runners, toms and chillies.

@wiseowl Sorry to hear that you have been defrosted

I've got bridge club this afternoon so I need to get picking and bagging :phew: Mrs Shiney is frantically getting ready for the Show today. Apart from getting all the entries prepared (I think she may be entering 20-30 categories :hate-shocked:) she's also in charge of refreshments. She practiced packing everything into her car yesterday and she's not quite sure whether they will all fit.
