    Good day everyone
I'm sorry to just be catching up on this thread and being spotty in my presence.

Looks like we're a busy crowd here. We're spinning into autumn. Another of my favourite seasons. Wait, I have four favourites... ;)

My friend in the home had a bit of nasty stuff happen to him and I had to spend time at the emergency department then spend time researching various solutions to make him more comfortable and finally, writing many letters, to various levels of staff at the home, expressing my outrage . I believe that they are now taking me seriously and beatings will be administered... okay not real beatings - but you know what I mean!

I ordered an indoor reflective material growing tent and will be doing lots of rearranging of tools and things in the cellar so as to accommodate it. This will allow me to play with green things while the snow flies. :) After I get back from New Orleans, I'm planning to start up some tomatoes in there - and perhaps see if I start some kelsaes - I have some wire ready to make proper supports for their leaves :)

@liliana I hope you can feel this hug that I am sending you via data stream. :grphg:

    Please be careful everyone!

      Good afternoon fellow WW'ers

Haven't had much time for typing many posts, it's been a busy few weeks.

[IMG] Yesterday was #1 son's Graduation! [IMG]

A very long day because his ceremony wasn't until 7.30pm (finally arrived home at 2.30am). Mr "M" insisted we leave early because it wouldn't be the first time that we've been caught in backlogs of traffic on that route! So, we were on the road by 0830hrs. Made quite good time so we had a relaxed lunch, just the three of us, before all the chaos (and fun!) began. I have to say the University did themselves proud in terms of organisation and the little bit of pomp and ceremony injected into the proceedings. All in all it was a hoot.

Thursday I'm off to Holland for the day, yet another long day. Last Saturday I was told there was a place going spare, so youngest son said he wouldn't mind going  Looks like it will be a wonderful day out now I have the bonus of his company (and wit!) :dbgrtmb:

Sunday I'm off to RHS Wisley for another day trip; they're having a flower show so it should be a really good day out! Was all booked to go back in March but something came up at the last moment and I couldn't make it, so :fingers crossed: 2nd time lucky :heehee:

One of the gardening club members gave me some allium bulbs last week; not only kind of her to do so, but fabulous that she'd remembered ... because *I* hadn't :heehee: Actually, she was the one who called me to invite me on the Wisley trip.

CongratUlations on your wins Mrs Shy Knee! [IMG]

And well done on 3rd place for our Zigs :star:

Smiles and vibes for all xxMxx

                Aloha everyone,

We had a good day yesterday :blue thumb: We spent the daytime out and about walking and relaxing and, in the evening, went to the theatre to see Sheridan's "The Rivals". :dbgrtmb:

Keep well and have a great day

                Aloha!

                    Good day, WW'ers :spinning:

It's a hottie today so I've come inside to try and find a bit of relief :toohot:

Thank you @Zigs  Good luck at work!

Think I've got everything ready for Holland tomorrow (passport, Euro's, camera) just need to check their weather report to make a final decision on what to wear. Hoping to persuade #2 son to take the river trip with me. Wanted to do one in my birth town but never got around to it; wanted to take one in Lincoln when we've visited but #1 son wasn't interested so it's :fingers crossed: for tomorrow that I finally get a river trip (it's not a lot to ask, is it?) :heehee:

Any news on your kitchen @moyra ?

Glad you had a lovely out and about day yesterday @shiney no review on The Rivals for us?

@CanadianLori - sounds like something awful has happened to your friend so I hope those beatings were done with a wooden stick with nails in! Hope he is ok now?

Need to get a loaf on and bake a cake - I swear just because I'm away for ONE DAY those at home are scared they'll starve to death in my absence! :shakehead:

Smiles and vibes to all and special thoughts for @liliana :grphg: xxMxx

                      Good day everyone
@"M" they rolled my friend right off the bed and then tried to claim he had rolled off himself - not a chance since he's hemiplegic... anyway, I think I've got them on the run as I've told them if they don't want me to move him and the $7K per month, they'd better smarten up. And quick. Much as I care about my friend, I really don't want to have to be driving down there every day to supervise his care. 4 x a week is what I am comfortable with.

                      @"M" enjoy your trip!

I've got to get back down the cellar and get the rest sorted in a hurry. Just got notification that my shipment is coming today. :yikes:

Have a safe day all. :)

@"M" The actors were all excellent with superb performances of the vast array of personalities in the play. It's a typical comedy of manners of the period with the wonderful language that was use in those days.

I still remember the original performance in 1775 :old: :heehee: but this performance was better. Mrs Malaprop's vocabulary hasn't improved one jot!
