        Good day everyone,
Our guest from California arrived Monday, today I have more company coming from a little place about 8 hours north of me. And I need to see my friend in the home before getting the shopping in to feed these people.
Hope you all have a safe day and if I don't have time to post in the next few days, I will certainly try to keep up with reading about how everyone is doing :)

Phew, it's been unbearably hot at work today. :phew: I love working outside, but days like today can be a bit of a struggle. Didn't help that we had a load of hedge cutting to do today, just about the worst job in hot weather, but it had to be done today so we just got on with it.

Shouldn't complain though, I've got several days off now to recover. Mrs Trunky is having a small operation on her feet tomorrow, which will mean she's virtually immobilized for a couple of weeks at least, so I'm having some time off to look after her, fetch and carry, and generally tend to her every need. :rolleyespink:

After a couple of weeks of that, she'll be eager to get back on her feet as soon as possible I'm sure. :heehee:

                      Good morning WW'ers

@Trunky best wishes to Mrs T for her op today; hope it all goes well and wishing her a speedy recovery :grphg:

@CanadianLori - definitely sounds like you have a plan when it comes to company :heehee:
                      Enjoy them

Still enduring broken sleep (it's been going on for ages now and getting very tedious!) and so I'm feeling a bit washed out. Add that to the heat and there won't be much of anything going on today - if I get any say in it that is  I think I'll hide away in the office and do some research on book suggestions for the book club ready for the next meeting :heehee: One of the neighbours called me a "Geek" when he learned I'd joined the book club (cheeky beggar!) until he discovered we hold our meetings in the pub :snorky: not that it has any bearing on why *I* go :nonofinger:

Smiles and vibes all round xxMxx

                        Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl I've been following your advice to keep out of the sun :blue thumb: but have failed, just a little bit, because I had to go out there to move the sprinkler. :noidea:

I shall be hiding from the sun again today except when I have to go out to meetings. It's already 71.5F/22C :phew:

@"M" Do you only read new books for your book club? I hope you manage to get better sleep when the weather cools down.

Keep ell and have a great day

                        Aloha!

Not at all but then we're only on the third book so far :heehee: in fact the 2nd book was "Not a Penny More .... " by Jeffrey Archer (1976). I think the main criteria is that we are able to get enough copies from the library :snorky:

Took Amber for an early walk this morning to make sure I was ready for them. Steve also went early so he could be home early. I hope they wont be long. Trunky, hope mrs T will soon be back on her feet again. Lori, hope you have a lovely time and do not overwork while entertaining.

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Thanks for all the good wishes. Mrs Trunky was first on the list, at 8-30 this morning, which she was more than happy with, as it meant less time waiting around.

I've been busy getting all the housework done this morning, as I expect she will need some peace and quiet when she gets home.

*Just had a text from Mrs T. She is back on ward, feeling a bit woozy after the anaesthetic, but otherwise fine.* :)
I'm just waiting for her to text me now to say I can go and bring her home, better crack on and finish the housework!
