The rain wasn't forecast to reach us until this evening Shiney, it often peters out completely by the time it gets over here anyway, so I knew it was fairly safe to assume a dry day.

Turns out I was right too, shed is all done and dusted, I've been out on my bike and run those errands for Mrs T and it stayed dry all day.

@liliana Here's another one for tomorrow. I'm sure all your friends here on GC will be thinking of you.

Good morning all, chaos reigns in this flat. Bally fitter only got the wrong size sink, it is too wide for the top. So no water on except in the bathroom. At this rate he wont be finished before Christmas.

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

We had a short, sharp downpour here yesterday evening (just after I posted that it had stayed dry all day). Not complaining though, the garden needs all the rain it can get at the moment.

Might take Mrs Trunky out for lunch today, she's moving about reasonably well now and needs a change of scenery after being stuck in the house for several days. I keep lecturing her about not overdoing things too soon, not sure she's taking any notice though.

We finally got the rain too, but in short sharp showers throughout the night.

@moyra - hope all the work is completed for you today; it certainly is taking long enough!

@Trunky - have a lovely lunch with Mrs T. I'm sure she'll enjoy the change in scenery; it's no fun being stuck indoors.

The day went really well. The funeral went perfectly. It was nice as the family all sat
round togther and recalled all the things they could about Peter. The champagne flowed, and the
nibbles eaten.All in all, a day to remember.

Right , off to bed, Lulu, my puppy is already asleep.

Morning all, bit of a dull and damp start here but it should brighten up later. Hope everyone is well.

Took Mrs Trunky out for lunch yesterday at a small cafe a couple of miles out of town. We hadn't been there before, it was nothing fancy, but Mrs T was just glad to be out of the house for a change of scenery. As a special treat, we popped in to the household waste site on the way there to drop off a few things for recycling - I really know how to treat a girl!
