          Gooooooooood Morning! :spinning:

          Beautiful morning today

So pleased to hear it liliana :grphg: I'm sure Lulu is going to be of great comfort to you in the coming weeks/months.

:heehee: Might be worth *having* them back ... just so you have an excuse for medicinal liquids again ;) :heehee:

:grphg: Soon be over, moyra. Then, you can rest easy knowing you won't have to put up with disruption of your kitchen again!

:yay: Very well done, Mrs Shy Knee!! :yay: :love30: :star: Hope we get to see a photo :fingers crossed:

Clearly not! :nonofinger: If you had *really* wanted to treat her ... you would have rehomed at least one item from the Household site recycling bins for her to turn trash into treasure with :heehee:

Good grief, I simply cannot believe that  Did the cat get your tongue? :heehee:

Must get a wiggle on ... taking #1 son to (yet another) interview :fingers crossed:

          Smiles and vibes xxMxx

            Aloha everyone,

It got quite warm yesterday and Mrs Shiney worked hard in the garden. She has also cut back a giant deutzia and a philadelphus. She's left them about two foot high and, I think, is deciding whether to have them dug out. Both of them were about 10ft high and 6ft wide.

I'm going to start having a go at removing a load of dandelions and strawberry weed that are in an area where it's difficult to get a fork into the ground. Partly because the ground is rock hard from the drought and partly because some of the area is the flower bed alongside the driveway, and the weeds are in the edges of the beds where the edging stones are concreted in.

The water authority has phoned me to say that they will be digging up the road again today. I won't hold my breathe :heehee:. Although it's more likely to actually happen because it will then cause chaos as we have a funeral starting off from next door at 11 a.m. (neighbour's mother.) They'll be parking cars in our driveway as well. So the digging will need to be done whilst not obstructing the vehicles. The workmen have been instructed to keep digging along the road until they find the leak. They've been trying to sort it out for over six weeks and we have lots of very new nicely tarmacked sections of road where they haven't found it.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Mrs Trunky getting a bit stir crazy from being stuck at home, so I took her down to the Landguard viewpoint at Felixstowe yesterday, where we spent a pleasant hour or so sitting in the sunshine watching the ships come and go.

Got a check-up at the dentist this morning, think I'll bike into town for that one, it's just as quick as driving and won't cost me for parking either.

                Have a good day folks.

The workmen have started. :blue thumb:

The foreman was extremely optimistic in thinking they would have the hole dug, the leak fixed and the road repaired before the funeral at 11 a.m. I wish him luck. :heehee:

                    Good day everyone,
I have pretty well gotten everything back in place. I do like having company but I must admit that long visits tire me and my pocket book out.

It is definitely getting nippy in the mornings so I am now pulling up the dying plants. Yesterday I got enough spuds from my second planting of potatoes to make a nice potato salad. :)

Have a safe and pleasant day please :)

                      Good afternoon fellow WW'ers

Another gorgeous day, although it did tease us with some grey skies this morning :th scifD36:
Youngest son accompanied me and Ozzy on our walk this morning (well, bribed with the offer of breakfast out :heehee: ); it was lovely to have him to myself for an hour or two without any distractions (mobile phone/games console, that sort of thing). It will be sad to see him leave at the weekend because he is very good company. But, I know how speedily that academic year will pass and it won't be anywhere near as upsetting as it was when they both left, within days of one another to begin their separate uni journey's. Tempus Fugit!

@moyra - I take it the kitchen is still chaos? :grphg:

@Trunky - good luck at the dentist!

@shiney - I think this (w)hole saga still has miles left in it!! :heehee: Hope the funeral isn't affected or inconvenienced with it.

Oh yes, I've gathered some seeds and added them to my bag of bulbs that are ready for planting out next time I work on the front garden; I've mixed them all up because I like the thought of surprises next year :heehee:

                      Anyway; smiles and vibes xxMxx

Hi Lori ... seems we posted at the same time :heehee:

Visitors can be tiring but, hopefully, they have offered you the opportunity to visit them at some point? They you can do the relaxing and being waited on (at their expense ;) )?

That's great that you had enough spuds for potato salad; home made potato salad is the very best! :dbgrtmb:

@"M" with a bit of luck it should be done by next week.

I sorted the funeral out :blue thumb:. I 'appropriated' ;) a big Stop/Go sign off the back of the road works lorry before it drove off. Then used it by standing in front of the traffic lights and held up the traffic, twice. The first time was when the funeral cars were coming to the neighbours and then, half hour later, when they were leaving. There were a few irate drivers who were not happy to wait at my sign whilst the funeral cortege moved up the road. Their bad language didn't speed them on their way :heehee:
