    Aloha everyone,

It's a little quiet on here at the moment. Only me and the robots.

        Good morning Mr Shiney :)

It is quiet this morning, still dark here, but then again it always is apart from the fibre optics

Have a lovely day in the real world :)

Morning all, has anyone checked in on Shiney lately? I think he might be losing it. :th scifD36:

Hope everyone is well, I've got a bit of a hurty arm this morning, think I might have done it at work on Friday when we were bulb planting, the ground was so hard we had to use a pick axe in places. :ouch1:

Mrs Trunky is moving around nicely now after her foot operation a couple of weeks ago, she's even helping me with jobs in the garden, albeit in short bursts. She hasn't started driving again yet, so I'm still chauffeur for the time being.

We're promised a bright day here, so I'll probably get one or two jobs done in the garden and maybe take Mrs T out somewhere for a change of scenery.

Hope you all have a good day. :)

              @Trunky

I don't think anyone would be able to check on me as the wardens aren't allowing me any visitors.

                Morning early people :)

Don't worry @Trunky, it's when he's being quiet you know he's up to something :snork:

Colder overnight, don't think we got a frost though :phew: Not a cloud in the sky now

Not worked out a plan for today, but we picked up another job to start tomorrow :)

Have a good day everyone and don't eat anymore Blackberries as it's past Michaelmas and the devil will have pee'd on them :yikes: Unless you're a Greek Orthodox, your devil wont come until the 8th of November :phew:

                    Goooooooood morning fellow WW'ers

The sun is shining (hip hooray!) but Ozzy isn't up for his walk today, he's a bit under par and there is nothing left in his tummy that requires going out to dispose of! I'll monitor him for the rest of the morning and then, if he isn't showing signs of picking up, we'll be off to the vets.

Fridays Coffee Morning/Afternoon Tea was a huge success! The road closure didn't seem to have had a dramatic impact and the event was very well supported. Aside from the setting up (and clearing up - funny how "helpers" seem to have to leave in a hurry by that time :heehee: ) I spent the whole of the time on tea/coffee duty and it was absolutely non-stop!! The woman who organised the event really did a fabulous job and, at the last count, it would seem that cash register recorded taking just over £1000 for the charity  I even managed to persuade #1 son to help with some of the lifting for the setting up part so that was a bonus

Speaking of #1 son, while he was doing his bit of weight lifting on Friday, he was called back from one of his interviews to say he was being offered the job (yay?) but, since the interview, and some moments of reflection, he had decided that it wasn't an environment he would thrive in; so, he thanked them for their offer and ... declined! :thud: He does have another (follow up) interview with a different company on Tuesday evening which is where he is hoping he will be successful. Have to say, I agree with his decision for the one he declined, but I'll have my fingers and toes crossed for Tuesday now! :rolleyespink:

@shiney - now that sounds like a funeral I wouldn't have minded going to! No one will forget that one ;)

@moyra - hope you feel better soon :grphg:

@Zigs - looks like a lovely place, how lovely of your son :blue thumb:

@Beckie76 - you'll know who ate the tomatoes ... the evidence will emerge

@Trunky - hope your arm heals as speedily as Mrs T's foot; sounds like she is almost back to full strength. Must be down to your excellent nursing skills :dbgrtmb:

                    Smiles and vibes xxMxx

                              Thank you GCHQ :blue thumb:

A bit nippy at 39.2F but the sun is shining brightly.

@moyra I wish you better. :grphg: I only know of vitamin C as an aid to help get over it but it works better as a preventative than a cure. You can get it in fairly tasty versions as Acerola chewable tablets - tastes a bit like the old fashioned Refreshers that we had as sweets. Follow the dosage as too much can give you the runs. Acerola is a cherry and the extracted vitamin C from it is the best form to have.

We had an enjoyable evening out, with friends, and this morning I have to take Mrs Shiney to the station for her journey to the West End for her ex-company's Pensioners' Lunch. It's at a posh hotel in the West End and there will be a few hundred of them.

In the meantime, I shall be going to the chiropodist. :dunno: :heehee:

Keep well and enjoy this sunny day that will soon warm up.

                              Aloha!
