Yawn, Yawn, Wakey Wakey!! 2016

Morning all

What a dismal start to the morning.

Toe is not aching at all. This toe, 2nd on right foot, has been broken 3 times.
It's always when I am making the bed, keep stubbing the ruddy thing, you would think
I had learnt my lesson by now. It's probably just crumpled bone now.

Car has appointment for a recheck with Honda on the 1st of March. The mechanic
said it probably is not as bad as the chap made out

Anyway, saved myself £320 yesterday OH side of our reclining bed would not
recline The new motor plus fitting was going to cost this amount. So I decided
to strip back the bed, spring all the dust and cobwebs away sort out all the cables, et
voila, his side now works, plus the bedroom is really clean I wonder what I
shall spend that saved money on .........of course the garden

Off to the local hospital for a preliminary eye check (glaucoma is a little worse) other
appointment is next week for decision,

Well, keep well and warm today. Oh, and don't forget to follow the Yellow Brick Rd

I hope you are all well?
I didn't get on here much yesterday we don't need anymore days like that!

My brother has been for his appointment at Papworth, he has a mild form of Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome, but because it's been causing him a lot of troubles they are going to carry out a procedure to his heart & remove the extra runway, he's on the waiting list, he's been advised it will be about 6 months before he has an appointment which is good because by then the baby will be born & into some sort of routine.

Not much else going on here, it's wet & dull but not as cold as it has been .

Take it easy @shiney, I hope your back improves & Hannah is soon on the mend.

Again...

Spoke too soon......

Trapped my thumb in the ladder, wanted to clean on the top of the wardrobe, and caught
my thumb as the step came down. Nasty cut..big plaster and it's throbbing.

I think I'm going back to bed ......wait ....I can't I have a load of seeds that need
putting into soil. Just have to wear my plastic gloves.

As Miranda's mother say's in the comedy show 'What fun'

 

@liliana I hope that wound heals quickly! And I wish all of those with other issues, a quick recovery.

I was so happy to look in the mirror this morning and see that the last of the swelling from the frostbite has finally gone. Now my face is back to regular simion rather than baboon's butt...

I am looking to a busy day, mostly on the road. The sun is shining, it is bitter cold but I will be in my vehicle with the heater blasting and sporting my cheap sunglasses

Oh gosh, I'm putting my foot down. Everyone must heal up ASAP. Including myself, as I strained my back lifting something I shouldn't. At least the sun is out, above normal temps and little wind.

Hi Beckie, so glad that your Brother has had a proper diagnosis... and with the birth of a new baby on the horizon... I'm sure that the future will be much brighter
