It looks like it's going to be a nice day here, blue sky & bright sunshine. We had a lot of rain in the night so the grass is very wet.

Buttercup is broody, yesterday Kev came home for lunch, buttercup was missing, she was hiding in the coop! He lifted her out of the coop only to be pecked! Hen pecked again!!

I'd better get on with something I might pop to Wilkos later, just to have a lk!
I have to do a grocery shop too, I might go to sainsburys for a change this week. Ice cream to make later on & of course gardening , today's plan is to dig the Rose arch in

Felt a bit under the weather yesterday, but had a nice afternoon with the Boy Gave him his new catapult but forgot he's slightly allergic to rubber

Didn't stop him just missing the greenhouse though

More yawn than wakey for me - temperature alarm went off every hour last night. We've got snow covering everything and it is bitter cold. A gas guy is coming to put a new meter in tomorrow so I hope that will solve issues regarding the heater... I did say I hope, with a big H....

@Becky76 glad your lectures worked. I'm fortunate not to be feeling my years. Or perhaps I'm just delusional about that

Going to get my mixer out and do up some cookie dough. Its a good day for chocolate chip cookies - nice chewy ones with a hot cuppa will make this cold day feel less bitter.

The sun has got his hat in here long may it last.

Buttercup is really grumpy, I lifted her out of the coop this morning mainly because I wanted her to have some breakfast & I got a good telling off , she's had some wet mash & a bit of porridge (not enough to to keep a sparrow alive, but I can't force her to eat). She's now returned to the coop, she will get over it in time I guess.

I 'had' to go to the garden centre yesterday & you'd never guess what happened to me that Haws watering can I'd been lusting after for ages jumped off the shelf into my arms , when I told Kev he raised his eyebrow & shook his head!
There's some lovely plants around at the moment , but I really shouldn't buy anymore I need to leave room for my Shineyland plants.

No sign of Mr Rat-a-tat-tat he was obviously only passing through.

Enjoy your day everyone....don't over do it & remember if you are feeling a bit peckish there's going to be rhubarb sponge at Shineyland this afternoon
