@"M" so far I'd have to run in circles a bit to get wet. Not impresses with what these clouds are squeezing out!

        Aloha everyone,

We got a lot done in the garden yesterday. I managed to get the mower going and finished the areas that I wanted to. Got most of the trellis up and will finish that this morning. I had to drive into town to get some cement and grouting to do the temporary repair on the patio and also to get another 300litres of compost. As usual, they were extremely helpful in Wickes and picked up and carried everything to the car. Michael was here so he unloaded it all.

        @moyra
I hope things go OK for you. :grphg: Most hospitals have a volunteer service for giving lifts to people. It would be a good idea to phone them and ask whether they have one.

It's going to be another hot day today  :phew:

I need to start on the ShineyFrame and to plan how to keep the rabbits from the beans.

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

Good Morning everyone, Thanks Shiney I do have transport when I have to for my eyes because then I cannot drive. I never thought to ask for it for this biopsy. Oh heavens it's on £20 for a taxi both ways, not worth bothering the hospital. I can't take the money with me when I go so I might as well use it for my well being.

Glad you have made so much progress on the garden, it would be nice if I can get there this year but healthwise things are not looking great.

Lili hope you are feeling much better now. WOO hope all is well in your nest. Lovely sunrise photo again. Have a good day all, take care, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
            God Bless.:wub2:

              Good Morning :hapydancsmil:

I've had a lay in, I felt quite tired yesterday, but I'm now on top form :hapydancsmil::hapfeet:.
Kev is watering the garden, I was suppose to do that last night but I was too tired.

I've got to nip into work but I'm going to work as hard & fast as I can so I can get back :dbgrtmb: I need to do a quick grocery shop & a return too, :heehee:.

My Dahalias are growing really quickly, the kitchen looks a bit like a greenhouse :heehee:.

@moyra I'm so pleased that you have got your hospital appointment :blue thumb:, I do understand your anxiety, I'd be feeling exactly the same if I was in your shoes, but I do think you should keep the appointment & get it over & done with :dbgrtmb: I wish you lived up the road then I'd have taken you. It would be lovely if you could come to Shineyland, see how you feel nearer the time :grphg:.

@shiney sounds like you are making good progress in the garden, I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by, not long before open day :hapydancsmil:

@liliana I hope you are ok & things are very much improving with you & hubby :dbgrtmb:

@wiseowl, lovely photo :dbgrtmb: I hope all is well in your best & you have got your bounce ability back. :hapydancsmil:.

I'm going to get the washing on the line & get going.

Have a lovely day everyone :grphg:

Good day everyone - wait a minute, good morning - there is still a little of the morning left over there...

Today is Mother's Day here. I asked my sons to come round Friday to give me my hugs and then spend today with their wives who are also mothers. I plan to do a little baking and puttering about before visiting my friend in the home. :)

I think I will be getting the best Mother's day gift ever. The trees are late blossoming this year and I think today is the day the Snow Cloud and Crab apple trees are going to put out their colours.

                Have a safe day all!

                      Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl I'm firing on all cylinder but I think they need a decoke! :snorky: Everything seems to be happening slower than it used to. :noidea:

Yesterday was a tough day working in the garden. We started off with a two mile walk before 7.30. It was nice and mild when we started but warm work by the time we finished.

I got the trellis work done on the back fence but was hindered by having the sun in my eyes all the time - and by still needing four hands to do the work. I did get some encouragement from Mr Robin who stood on the fence all the time and chatted to me. He wasn't at all bothered by the hammering. :) By then it was lunch time so I dug over some of the new bed by the fence for Mr Robin. :blue thumb:

I, also, had (no) fun and games trying to fix the long hose and the connectors in the hose reel have packed up after 20 years. Modern products - Pahhh!!! :mute: I shall go out this morning to get a new hose-reel holder. I'll phone round as soon as the shops are open - let your fingers do the walking :).

After all the hard jobs I've done in the last few days the hardest thing on my back was running the 200ft long hose along underneath the hedge to the end of the garden. Having to be half bent (not half cut!) to do it has made my back bad this morning. Pain killers coming up :frown:

I'll continue today getting the bean canes in and see whether I'm up to tying them in and weaving the overhead framework.

Keep well and have a great day

                      Aloha!

                          Good morning
It looks like it's going to be a pleasant day however I need to work inside on wage earning jobs today. I'm going to try to work quickly so that I get part of the afternoon outside.

                            Good morning,

                            What a beautiful day .

SIL is at the hospital she had to be there at 10.30 this morning, they are going to induce her sometime today, I've not heard anything yet, I do hope her labour is well on the way & she won't have to wait too long. i hope my brother is ok! He can be a bit squeamish! :heehee:.

I didn't get to work yesterday  which was very very naughty of me, I had a 5.30 start this morning instead :thud: amazing what you can get done when you are under pressure! I got a lot done in the garden & four loads of washing dry on the line :hapydancsmil:, housework....I left that for another day! But I did get the ironing done :dbgrtmb:.

Looks like we are in for another hot day today, I won't mention any names BUT please don't over do it in the garden today in this heat!! :th scifD36:

Best I get a move on :hapfeet:.

Can't possibly mean me! :nonofinger:  :heehee:

My fingers didn't do too much walking as none of the shops seem to have what I want in stock but Screwfix said they would get it into the nearest store by noon tomorrow. :blue thumb:

Yesterday Mrs Shiney had to move her car up the driveway and left the car unlocked and the windows open. We went out in the evening and didn't return until 10.30. Mrs Shiney then got her keys to move her car back and close the windows. She found Sarafi fast asleep in the driver's seat!! :rolleyespink: :snorky:

Too hot again today (75F) at the moment. So not doing a lot out there. I spent an hour out there just trimming the willow branches as they were hanging down to the ground and I need to leave room for people to wander there on Open Day. I trim them by hand so that they look natural and not as though they have been chopped off by the hedge cutter.
