Lovely day here, seem to have a touch of hayfever though, not had that for years.

Good excuse to eat some local honey for local people

I've been far too busy the last few days but I think I'm almost up to date now .

We had a lot of rain over night but it's dry this morning.

Mr Rat-a-tat-tat is back I stalked him yesterday & think I know where he's camping! Now we can get the little beast

Morning early people

On a mission this morning, load the car up with scrap metal, weigh that in and then collect some Tibetan Chanting Basil for a certain French member

Also got some beans to post to the Isle of Wight that I meant to post last week

Then back to paint the cloches I made yesterday.

The hens are tapping on the dining room window , I suspect they want a plate of wet mash , I've got some left over lettuce for them too.

The sun has got his hat on again and even sunglasses today....


After all that hard work yesterday my muscles are letting me know I've not used them in a while

Lots to do today so back off to B & Q, walk Tess on the way, call into the fish centre as the plants in the pond have outgrown their baskets, a visit to the garden centre as I have £40 worth of vouchers to use up by the end of the of the month, cut all the grass and pull up the dreaded weeds... wouldn't it be great if flowers grew as fast and furious as the weeds do
