Morning all, hope everyone is well.

@Beckie76 Hope your cold has cleared up this morning, do we need to keep a safe distance away from you today?

Woke up early this morning with a stiff neck, it was fine when I went to bed last night. That, and the place across the road having their trade bins emptied at 6am meant no point having a lie in, so I'm up and about.

Right, I've been outside and fed the hens, so now it's breakfast, hang out the washing, check the greenhouse and then off to Shineyland!

Im in the wars! My eye is swollen this morning! God knows what's happened to it? Maybe it's a sty or an insect bite?

@shiney & @Trunky I feel much better this morning thanks, I hope I'm not contagious! I'm sure a day at Shineyland will cure it

Good Morning everyone, so chilled through this morning, think I have caught a cold too, either that or it is hayfever. They did cut the long grass on the green yesterday and there was lots of seed around. Just used some sinex soother see if that helps. Beckie hope you are feeling better this morning.

I do hope you all have a lovely time at Shineyland today and shall be thinking of you all enjoying all the delicious cakes and sandwiches etc. Must get Amber out for a walk now. Have a good day all and hope the weather stays fine for you all. God bless.

Lili, hope your Peter is starting to feel better, I am getting more nervous about my op on Tuesday as the day goes on. As long as they let me home at the end of the day I shall bear up but if they try to keep me in they will find considerable resistance.

I haven't visited this thread for awhile as I've been skipping the yawn yawn part of the morning. Been so busy that I had to go straight to wakey wakey worky worky

We are off to a Mopar car show today. Taking our 46 year old 'cuda out for the spin and show. I always get treated to a nice greasy (bacon, yum) breakfast for riding shot gun. Always a nice reward

Good morning all, Shiney you just about survived the weekend so now I will ask again will you and Hannah treat yourself to a short break away. You certainly deserve it. Hope your back is feeling easier today.

Tomorrow is D Day for my op and I haven't a clue where I am supposed to register in at 7.30 am tomorrow because of the holiday weekend I have not received any further advice after being told to attend the day centre and yet they have booked me a bed on a main ward?! I expect it will be sorted if I attend the day centre tomorrow.

Lili, I hope your foot and Peter's problems are all on the mend and Beckie hope your cold is feeling better and you enjoyed your time at Shineyland.

Morning all.

Dull, cool and windy here this morning, but still dry. Going to take a break from the gardening today, apart from a bit of watering first thing.

I'm off to have a look round the Cold War museum at a local former US air base this morning, I'm told it's quite an interesting place.

Then it's off to see Father-in-Law this afternoon, it's his 90th birthday tomorrow so there's a bit of a 'bash' going on there today.

Hope you are all well, mind that back @shiney and don't put it out again lifting all that money.

@moyra I hope all goes well for you tomorrow, my best wishes for a successful outcome and a speedy recovery.

Morning all

Feeling really rough this morning, eyes are sore and running, nose has the sniffles.

It was a really cold day at the boot sale yesterday, silly me, I thought it was going to be
a lovely day, so did not take a proper jacket. I had a fleecy gilet, that helped, but I
did not have a happy day, as I feel the cold very quickly. Peter was resting in
the car, as he was still feeling under the weather.

Also after my lunch, I decided to go and move some bricks, to come into the garden,
The last batch I bought in(as I wanted to make it the last trip) was 5 in my tray. Well,
that just about did me in. I had a funny turn after that, and had to come in for
something to put my energy levels back up.

I am walking around like a zombie.

Hey ho, better go and sit and rest before OH has a fit that I am doing some work

 

Good day everyone
The car show yesterday was fun. We chatted with a lot of friends we hadn't seen since autumn. It was extremely hot and humid and being that there was not place to get shade, we did get a little bit too much sun.

It is Memorial Day in the U.S. today, but not a holiday here. I have shipments arriving into the storage facility in Niagara Falls, NY, but I'll save flipping over the border for near the end of the week.

I managed to repair my large machine on Saturday which means I'm going to get some more work done today I'm striving to get all of my orders processed and be able to take a short sabbatical.
