We could use some free water. Looks like we might get lucky on Thursday. :)

@shiney I hope your back improves quickly. Now I feel guilty about not doing my exercises. Right, will start again this morning. :yay:

@moyra that must be so frustrating not knowing when you will get your procedure. How on earth is one to plan things with that kind of waffling going on?

@Zigs Your Egyptian mummy's antiperspirant made me think about what a stinky lot those people were. No anti p and building all those pyramids..:yikes:

I hope everyone has a good day - I plan to wage earn this a.m. and then play outside in the p.m. Still have lots of transplanting to do and lots of tidying as well.

I can tell you - the smell of stale sweat when down in the tombs in the Valley of the Kings is not something they advertise! :nonofinger:  :th scifD36:

Good morning everyone, no word from the Hospital and I am not going to chase them anymore. Not very nice out there this morning. No doubt Shiney the weather was kind to you over the weekend.

Beckie, you caught that Rat yet and is Buttercup still brooding?

Lili, hope you have some news on your foot and that Peter is also recovering.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

@moyra yes, we had glorious weather - after a nippy start each morning. Yesterday was an awful day weatherwise, although the garden loved it. It broke one of the Gazebos :rolleyespink:

We're still working on the raffle :phew: but I'm also still taking things easy. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

Just heard from the hospital, I have to go for a further preassessment tomorrow at 8.30am with the anesthetist and then I shall be admitted to the day care at 1pm on Wednesday 8th for the operation. So am happier about that. Lets hope it all goes like clockwork now. Have a good day it is raining again here. Bye for now. Take care all. Raining here again.

All the best for today @moyra

Bit like October here, cold wind, cloudy

Tracked down my jump leads yesterday  I'd left them in the paddock at MaxGate and the head gardener had lobbed them in her van :phew:

Have a good day everyone and keep out of the north wind :)

                            Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well

Cold, windy & overcast here, I do hope we get some more sunshine very soon .

Good luck at the hospital @moyra, you are very much in my thoughts :grphg:.

Buttercup is still broody, Florence is showing some signs of going broody, I hope I don't get two at it!

There's been no sign of Mr Rat-a-tat-tat since we moved the coop & boards off the veggie patch, I hope he's moved on :fingers crossed:

I seem to have a lot to do today :rolleyespink:so I'd better get on.

Hello Everyone, just got home from the hospital. Was there at 8.20 and they had a generator problem so no lights etc. Had to eventually and have a pee in the dark because the automatic lights did not come on. You would think they would have a back up system. But no. The light and everything eventually came on at 9.00am. 9.20 as asked them if the anethestist knew I was waiting. Oh dear said they we didn't have one yesterday and they are two short on the wards, will make enquiries. Another hour later another anaestatist showed his face. I told him apparently he was going to be cut in three, he said it would appear so. Anyway in the meantime an Pathology assistant interviewed me and directed me as to which of my medication I could not take and how long before the operation, quite a few apparently. She then passed me over to yet another nurse who was asking me the self same questions as I had already answered the other day. Eventually the Doctor turned up and apologised. My tummy was so upset I had to take breaks to go to the loo. He took my temperature asked about my post traumatic stress disorder and the panic attacks. Listened to my heart and said it was racing, also my breathing was very eratic. He called for a Heart monitor, I told him I had already had ECG but he said they needed to actually look at my heart. So another wait to find out if I would have to come back or whether they could get the technicians to come and do the scan. Fortunately they did but by the time they arrived it was quarter to twelve. I eventually left about 20 minutes later.

Apparently I may not have General anaesthetic and may have a localized pain killer into the spine which will deaden my legs etc for a few hours. They will decide next Wednesday when I turn up for the op. Cela vie' that's the latest. I have to walk Amber her mid day walk as he himself has other things to do in the garden!

                                Aloha everyone,

I'm slowly catching up on paperwork but the postman seems to be having a competition on how much more he can bring me!

We've got a whole crowd of family coming tomorrow and I've already started cooking some of the food.

I'll move the bird feeders, carefully, back to the main lawn today. They're probably empty but I haven't been down the garden to look

The last of the tables and chairs were picked up yesterday. It took five van loads to get everything cleared :rolleyespink:.

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
