    Aloha everyone,

Thank you @wiseowl :blue thumb: We met some very nice people (shared a table as they were very busy) and had a good meal.

Had a good day out yesterday. Frosty morning but very sunny. So cold on one side and hot on the other :noidea: :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Perhaps you did not take the system restore back far enough Zigs. I was surprised recently had lots of problems with e-mailing in the end managed to take the system restore back to when my e-mail system was initially downloaded. Brilliant!

                  Good day fellow WW'ers.

Exciting day today: youngest had his first driving lesson! [IMG]
Thankfully, it all went very well but it was amusing (to me) that he hadn't realised he would actually drive on the road, with other cars, on the first lesson  For some reason he had assumed (bad start that :heehee: ) he would just be given an introduction to the vehicle, the controls and the dashboard. He Skyped after it was all over and done with and he was grinning from ear to ear as he recounted his experience ; another magical milestone on life's journey he can tick off now :dbgrtmb: Of course, he also experienced being "beeped" at from a driver in the car behind when he "carefully" (aka slowly) took his first right hand turn  What on earth is the point in that? :dunno: It's a learner vehicle, what did the buffoon behind expect: Stirling Moss? :waggy:

Ozzy had a less than best day yesterday. Mr "M" took him for a walk in the morning. They had only been gone around 20 minutes when I heard Oz barking at the gate. A moment later, he barked again, so I went out to open the back gate and in he trotted. I rubbed Oz down, expecting Mr "M" to come through the gateway any moment. Oz had a drink of water and then took himself off to his basket upstairs. Then, it dawned on me, he was on his own!! :hate-shocked: :hate-shocked: :hate-shocked:
Where was Mr "M"? I allowed 5 minutes, then called him. He answered :phew: said he was in the woods ... I asked why? ... he said because Oz was chasing squirrels   No, he was at home, in bed!!! To get here he would have had to walked/run down a road, which has no pavements, at the busiest time of the day with people going to work, children going to school and it was bin day. He was one lucky dog!
Luck wasn't on his side come evening though. #1 son was trotting down the stairs, didn't realise one of Ozzy's favourite resting spots is at the foot of the stairs on the middle landing ... yup, you've guessed it ... son trod on the dog! After his walk today, we stopped off at the onsite café and I treated him to a sausage to make him feel better: it worked :doggieshmooze: :doggieshmooze: .

Ho hum, life is never dull :heehee:

Well done to Ozzie finding his own way home and also to number one son on his first driving lesson. Just walked Amber whilst we are in the eye of the storm. I don't think there will be many leaves left on the trees afterwards. I feel sorry for the gardeners keep sweeping them or hoovering them up only to find their work undone before they have turned around.
Have a good day all stay dry and warm and above all stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Gosh, you were brave! Well done to you - Ozzy is having to wait until the storm subsides. There are just too many trees around here and I simply will not risk it. Bravo to you though

                      Thank you moyra :)

It'll be a crafting morning today I think. I have a lot of projects on the go and really should finish at least one of them  :heehee:
