    Good day everyone
    My friend is now back at the home. He was dehydrated and has now been plumped back up again. Apparently he keeps clamping down on the straws and therefore not getting his drinks so I'm going to find some, what we call ,"sippy cups" and get the staff to try these.

    Need to load up my oven and take it into the repairman's shop. The burnt out harness cannot be replaced because they are not longer available so they will try to hardwire it for me.

    I'm happy to have a sales call this morning. It will kick of work for the new year. :)

                  My friend was shuttled to the hospital again last night. Lots of head shaking and finger pointing later, he was sent back to the home. I am having a meeting there this morning hmm... where did I store that cat'o'nine tails....

                    I spent part of today making funeral arrangements for my friend in anticipation of his death which will most likely happen in the next few days.

                    He has family flying into town so I will not likely be posting here for some days.

                          @wiseowl And @moyra many thanks for your good wishes. I'm on the mend, slowly, and am beginning to feel a bit better. :blue thumb: Mrs Shiney is still suffering (from her cough as well :heehee:). After the frost had gone I ventured out to do a little bit of food shopping and went to the bridge club in the evening. I survived :hapydancsmil: :snork:

                          It's milder today and if it doesn't feel too damp out there I want to try and carry on with removing some of the moss from the beds. I was getting on very well before Christmas and had filled three wheelie bins with it. I'll be pleased if I just manage a bucket full today. Using a hand rake saves me bending too low and is pretty good at removing the moss but I have to be careful of the buds and roots of the plants.

                          This is the type that I use and find it better for doing the moss than the traditional triangular shape.

                              If I'm feeling up to it we shall go for a walk in the forest this morning. :)

                              Sarafi's humans have asked us to give him extra cuddles in February as they are going on holiday. Their parents shall be house sitting but Sarafi usually comes to us for his cuddles when they're away. :cat-kittyandsmiley:
