@moyra Good luck at the hospital today.

Had my regular hygienist appointment yesterday and all's well I've, finally, got them to put on my records that I will not have an x-ray . That's only because the hygienist now has access to the computer records and I stood over her whilst she put the note on the record. Each year, when I go for my annual check, they try to start off with an x-ray. My attitude is that I will only have an x-ray if they have definite suspicions that there is something wrong. The hygienist agrees with me as she sees me every three months.

So, I've nearly finished my regular service schedule. Last week was the chiropractor, yesterday hygienist and today it's the chiropodist. I also get my Service Book stamped

It's another thermals day today.

Cold and sunny this morning.

@Trunky One of my favourite restaurants is in Dedham (but I've got a lot of favourites when it come to eating ). It's called Milsoms. You don't need reservations - they don't take bookings but they have plenty of room. They have a good herbaceous border later in the year.

We have a charity quiz to go to this evening but I haven't got my quiz head on and don't seem to be able to find it

Good morning all my friends on this Bonus of a Sunday morning it was very frosty but now has turned to rain,have a delightful day and take care

It's cold and wet out there.

We enjoyed ourselves at the charity quiz last night but didn't win. By half time (food break) we were clearly in the lead but it all went downhill from there.

The first round after the break was on TV programmes. This wasn't our strong point but we weren't particularly worried - until they said it was all about children's programmes. Ten questions and seven of them were about programmes we had never heard of!

Then came Food and Drink (we were playing our Joker on that round as we thought it was our strong point). The first question was 'What was the name of the dog in the children's TV programme, The Herbs? '. Question five wanted to know the name of a TV cookery presenter on children's TV! The other questions weren't too bad.

Next round, Music. All but two of the questions were on pop songs of the last ten years or about who the pop stars married. By then we were losing the will to live!

Today I'm playing bridge for the county (inter-county league). I live on the border of two counties and am playing for one against the other . As the weather is not very good (rain and snow forecast) I'm pleased we've only got 35 miles to go to get there (shorter if I go across country). It's the last match of the season and we would, of course, like to win it but it won't affect our position on the league table. We're in an unassailable first position.

A dreary looking day but I have a certain amount of bouncability.

We won our match yesterday 17 - 3. So it has just proved that 'We are the Champions'

The computer has playing silly B's over the weekend so I think I shall get Tom in to have a word with it.
