Good day
It rained a bit overnight but I'm not sure it was of any consequence. The skies are still grey so hopefully more free water will fall throughout the next few days.

I have lots to keep me busy this morning. Getting the main floor vacuumed and tidied and all of the bed linens and rest of the laundry run through the machines is on my agenda. And, of course, three episodes of my beloved Corrie to view.

It's amazing what can still be achieved safely if people put their minds to it and practice forward planning. We normally head off early to do our shopping too but this week we went on Sunday ( why????) and the queues were awful..but obviously it was later due to Sunday trading times.

Housework this morning then off to pick up a spare water butt from my parents place then heading into a rare GC ( around here anyway) that says it stocks Citrus feed....
will buy both summer and winter now so won't have to panic later.

I always feel so lazy when I visit in the morning as you all have been up and busy at least five hours before me!

I started my day the usual way. Put the kettle on and do a dozen or so sit ups. I do my sit ups on the living room floor and this morning there was a bonus. As I reclined between rises, I noticed a book I'd long forgotten about - The Canadian Perennial Garden. Well, wasn't it just wonderful to find it after I'd been admiring my one and first hollyhock and wanting to learn more so as to maybe put more in for next year! And also what do I see in this book as well? Primula. Yes, I wanted to know more about them too after seeing the ones @shiney had shown us awhile ago.

I didn't vacuum yesterday but I did launder everything that wasn't attached to something so this morning the sucker comes out

@Flumpy I hope your "cheeky" (i think that's what you mentioned) offer is accepted. I'm sending wishes for good luck to you.
