Good grief, it's evening and I just now remembered I didn't greet anyone this morning!

Busy busy day. Nothing horrible, nothing exciting, just busy!

See you all tomorrow. I'll try to be there my usual 5 hours late :)

Well do I feel any better for that.....too early to tell.:dunno::fingers crossed:
I've been feeling increasingly tired over the last couple weeks and feeling quite dizzy at times too, I've put this down to the general wear and tear/ stress of every going on in my life just now and + missing our 'boys'. I'm normally a night Owl and am never in bed before 12:30 at the earliest and we are always up early too. Last night I became quite concerned at just how tired I feeling, I couldn't keep my eyes open so ( still with brilliant sunshine pouring it in through the windows) I crawled up to bed at 7pm....next thing I knew was hubs bringing in my breakfast at 7:30....this morning :yikes:!!!!. I never heard him coming to bed or even felt him getting into bed beside me!! Never heard the radio alarm come on, never heard hubs get up......and more amazingly never had to wake up for a wee!!!....no there weren't any puddles in the bed either!! 12 hours+ of solid sleep...just shows what marvellous machines our bodies are at running on reserves, and letting us know when they can't cope anymore.

Not saying I'm feeling fully recharged ( in fact I can feel a headache coming...probably due to too much sleep!!:roflol:) but nevertheless ready to leave in 30 minutes time for another whole day of house clearing over at my parents house with my sister and brother.

                    Enjoy your day everyone!:spinning:

                      Good day
@Upsydaisy it's good that your brain let your body rest. I'm sure you're feeling a lot of that "one step forward, two steps back" feeling these days as clearing out a beloved ones home and place of many happy memories is stressful in the least and then physically tiring too!

I'm going to finish up the fence privacy screening today. I sewed the last of it yesterday and now need to attach it. First I have to pull some 50 or 60 slats in one section to accommodate the new screen. It is slats that I had already moved once before deciding on this configuration. Lots of exercise through poor original decisions but this should be it - done by about 10 this morning !

Going to do a little baking today too as Samantha has no appointments and I will have all that extra time on my hands.

I've decided that I have missed out on something wonderful all these years. Hollyhocks. I grew one from seed and am absolutely delighted with the size of it and what a beautiful display it puts in front of the back fence. I will be spending time looking through my catalogues to find lots of varieties for next year :dbgrtmb:

Best get on with the fencing. Cheers to everyone :coffee:, and please play safe ;)

Hope everyone is keeping well and ready to greet the new day ahead.

Very busy ,tiring and emotional day yesterday but managed quite a few giggles as some of our sorting out 'finds' evoked many happy memories. Had another quote on emptying the house ,garage ,shed and the two greenhouses+ delivering some pieces of furniture to my brother's place and collecting bits that he needs to get rid of in order to make room for the 'new' bits. We've had several now and they all seem around the £2000 mark.
We don't need to empty cupboards / drawers ect as they will do all that.
But nevertheless we still have to go through everything to sort out what needs to be removed and shredded/ burnt. Even though they all say they shred things we all agree we would prefer to do this ourselves....you can't be too careful!

Still waiting to hear if the people who are buying want to keep the fish, we have asked them to think seriously as they need a good level of care and all the pond filter system needs looking after. The big pond ( the original) is surrounded by trees and is a lot of work in the autumn when the leaves start to fall...the pond need daily clearing.

Enjoy your day , not quite so sunny this morning but still Ok and very warm.:spinning:

                            Good day
Heavens @Upsydaisy ! What are you going to do with all of your spare time when you've finished your bit and the contractors take over? You'll have to find your "slow down" button!

I did get my fencing privacy panels and slats sorted yesterday and am glad that is done as it looks very tidy :)

I take Samantha for a blood test this morning so that the results will be provided to one of her doctors before a Monday appointment with him. And tomorrow she goes into the hospital for another CT scan in the morning. Next week has a medical appointment for her nearly every day too. This makes me happy as I know the medics are being vigilant.

Lots of puttering this afternoon will complete my day. Have a super day everyone and please play safe!

Hi Lori, that's a great comfort to you all knowing that Samantha is having a close eye kept on her.

My slow down button has gone into automatic mode I think. I am so exhausted that I've come in and am going up for a lay down...hopefully it might ease my migraine too.

                              Enjoy your day.:spinning:

                                Aloha everyone,

I've been extremely busy but can't think of how I've taken up so much time .

Harvesting is now taking a couple of hours a day. Had a man in to work on the other side of the greenhouse from the side he fixed last time. Chatting takes a long time :heehee:

@Upsydaisy take things easy :blue thumb:

@CanadianLori watch the Hollyhocks carefully as they can suddenly decide to fall over with the weight of the flowers. It may be better to stake them.

                                Keep well

                                Aloha!
