Good day
And it is a good day I think I made about 40 or so trips to the cellar with bags of my son's belongings. Everyone of them felt like I was lifting a bag of hammers but I got through the lot and now there are just the large saws to put back together and on their machine dollies. And I won't be doing that. Number 2 son will come by later and the boys can finish the work.

This morning is going to be spent doing more laundry and puttering before and after my show and the same during commercial breaks after my show starts. I'll putter within ear shot of the television during the soap. Jeff's character didn't get his last week so I hope he gets it this week. Nasty toe rag!

Lori you sounds like you’ve been very busy, sorry to hear about your son but sound like he’s happy to be home , sounds like your granddaughter is slowing the mend, it may take a while but she will get there.

It is a little cloudy and cool this morning. The sun looks like it will make short work of the clouds and the temperature will rise to a comfy level.

I've got a day of just puttering and tidying and cleaning. Nothing heavy just ordinary house keeping so should be very relaxing.

It's also nice to know that I'll have time to get some weeding done. Since the sprinkler system has been running it's not just the good guys who are flourishing!

@shiney it's a lucky break for you to get the patio done before the fall. It is an awesome time for sitting out with a morning cuppa.

My uncle rang me last night with sad news, my Auntie passed away, she found out she had cancer two months ago she was my godmother too lovely lady

 

So sorry to read of your loss @Flumpy , my thoughts are with you and your family.

We had a small get together yesterday after finally laying my Dad to rest after a 14 week wait. They did an excellent with the headstone as they revamped it entirely after adding Dad's details. It's quite exposed to the sun, and it was surprising how the original lettering had began to deteriorate.
It looks like new now.

Not sure what the plans are for today, I do need to go into town at some point.

@Flumpy I am sorry to hear of our loss. Hugs from me.

Today I only need to take to Samantha to the hospital for another follow up with the surgeon she will probably assess how things are inside from the CT scan and tell us if the wounds where the tubes were, are healing properly.

I've got housework to do but I need the ambition to go along with the need so it probably won't get done today!

Guess I'll just putter and enjoy the cooler (70'sF) weather

hope then weather stays fine for you all, I finish at 2pm so I’m popping to my parents to drop some things off the home and chill whilst the washing is on. The couple who are buying our house did a second viewing with parents and they loved it

 

Hope everyone is well this morning. A bit of a damp squid of a day here today . Thankfully I still have lots of seedlings that need pricking out and potting on in the greenhouse. Also just downloaded a nice gardening library book to browse through today....so all is good.
