      Aloha everyone,

Mrs Shiney was finishing teaching her Reiki course yesterday (only one day left for qualification when the shutdown occurred :rolleyespink:) and I had set up the large Gazebo for it in the garden and written the Risk Assessment to comply with regs.

It turned out too cold to hold it outside but she was able to run it in the summerhouse (with distancing) with the underfloor heating on and the fan heater working and the doors and windows open. Rather profligate on power usage but the sun was out and the solar panels were working overtime. I had to rewrite the R.A. and send it off to her insurers .

As the door was open Sarafi walked in and joined the class (sort of). He's not normally allowed indoors as he's not our cat but cats don't have the word 'No' in their vocabulary. So he spent the 7.5 hours jammed in behind Mrs Shiney's back. He didn't move from that position once!

This is how he usually tries to make us feel bad about not letting him in.

      P1490556.JPG

      Keep well

      Aloha!

Good morning Moyra, Shiney and all that are just rising :spinning:

just woke to clear blue sky’s so I’m going to try and get my washing out once again and hope our selfish neighbor doesn’t put another barbecue on.

Shiney that cat looks beautiful, I love the way it sits staring at you through the glass :heehee:, congrats to MRS Shiney on her lessons, I’m sure she will do well

@Flumpy Mrs Shiney is the teacher . She trains the others and is a Reiki master (amongst many other qualifications) and was training them to be Masters. They passed with flying colours. :)

              Good day
It is another sunny day and the guessers say it will only go up to the mid 70'sF :)

Sam sees ner main/coordinating doctor this morning and this afternoon is the start of the head work. She has a three hour class every weekday afternoon for the next 5 or 6 weeks. I hope these sessions help reverse all of tne brain washing that happened and bring back her self esteem :fingers crossed: She now has several new oufits to wear that make her feel pretty and feminine so I hope this will launch her into class without feeling any embarassment. And of course, whilst she is in class I'll be going and finding more fabric to get more clothes sewn up for her in readiness for the upcoming cooler autumn days.

The sessions are at tne hospital 5 minutes from me and there is a grocery directly opposite it so after dropping her off each day I can stop in and buy fresh ingredients for that night's supper. :)

Have a lovely day and please play safely :)

                  Just taking a break :phew:

It's warm and sunny outside now and making a cuppa for Mrs S and myself before friends arrive.

We had someone earlier this morning for plants and to pick some plums. Friends arriving at 3 p.m. for afternoon tea in the garden
                  [IMG]

And I've primed the butler for making the drinks
                  [IMG]

Then it's Indian dinner tonight. I made five curries yesterday so just have to heat them up and cook the rice.

Not sure what Sarafi will eat

That was just an example of the menu :noidea: They got whatever happened to be lying around at the time but we don't waste bread by cutting off the crusts.

That's him on his best day

It's not really the right thing to sack mentally impaired staff. :rolleyespink:

                            Good day
It is another sunny day. The guessers have said the temperature will remain in the 70's but after today there will be 2 days of rain.

Sam said it was very chilly in the hospital yesterday so this morning I will make her a cozy cardigan to take this afternoon. I had to go to the fabric store anyway yesterday to renew my membership for getting discounts and walked out with about a 100 of your pounds worth of fabric :doh:Oh well, I did get a lot for my money as I shopped the items that were on offer, for the most part..

The doctor phoned us a 9:30 last night. He was concerned about some pills she had been prescribed and told us to half them because in her weakened condition, they could cause kidney damage! :yikes: Never had a call from a doctor at night so this was quite worrying.

Otherwise things are quiet. Best get son's lunch made and get on with getting out the pattern for the cardigan. I'll make her a slim sweater for underneath in the same fabric so she can have a cozy twin set.

Cheers all :coffee: and have a lovely day please. :)
