    Aloha everyone,

I seem to have so much to do nowadays that I don't get on here as often. It couldn't possibly be that everything takes me longer to do nowadays and I need more time with my feet up!

They've nearly finished the work on the patio and today is the last day they will be here until later in the month. They're not too messy but there's always a lot of clearing up to be done after they go each time.

I've done a lot of work in the garden cutting the lawns and making new lawn edges and then weeding along the edges. I'm suffering for it now as my neck is extremely painful and I can't turn my head sideways.

We had visitors for dinner Saturday night and it went very well. Yesterday we had two family Zooms that took up quite a bit of the day and then I had to go up to London last night to pick up an order from a deli (stuff you can't get locally).

Visitors from Mrs Shiney's flower club today so I need to set everything up in the garden for afternoon tea.

    Keep well

    Aloha!

Hi Moyra hope you are well, it’s another grey but dry day on our second weeks off, it’s forecast to be nice from Thursday onwards  so we are going to stretched our legs up Rivington and blow the cobwebs away.

Lori sounds like Same is on the mend slowly but surely, your doing a good job :dbgrtmb:

have a lovely day all :spinning:

Shiney you sneaked in there, glad the patio is showing progress, you will be able to enjoy it soon if the weather stays nice. I think where all busy at the moment, I’m just getting time to write while I’m off work :hapfeet:

          Good day
It started raining early this morning about 4ish. Lots of free water and the clouds are still rushing across the sky. It's 65f out there right now so it will be another pleasant day as it is not bound to heat up too much more.

I've been quietly making trips up and down the cellar bringing up the big canner and jars in readiness to put the chillies to good use. Meant to bring things up yesterday but ran out of time so did it this morning.

I'll probably be missing roll call here and there as I've got a contract coming up for 6 rooms of sheer window dressings and another of roman shades.

As it's one of those dull days and playing outside is not an option, I'll be baking some breads and filling the house with pleasant aromas. A relaxing way to spend our Labour Day Holiday :)

Have a lovely day all :blue thumb:

It's coming on well but still some more to go. Then I have to wait until November before I can pressure wash it.

Photos taken early this morning before the sun was up.

                        Good day
Gloomy skies this morning and 60f out there. But it is still cozy inside and a fresh cuppa completes a pleasant way to start my day.

My to do list is already cut in half because it will be raining shortly and those jobs outside will have to be put off until another day.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and please play safe! :)

The building didn't need planning permission but the electrics needed a Part P certificate. When the electrician came in it was just a wooden structure and he had to put something on the form. :noidea: :heehee:

                              Good day everyone
It is grey and 59f. We are told not to expect sunshine until late today or early tomorrow. No big deal to me as I have lots of indoor things to get done.

My indoor cannabis plants are getting their first and second true leaves and only one casualty so far. It's pretty much going to just be an experiment this round to see what happens if I force them to flower earlier than usual. When they get to about 20 inches tall, I'll switch them over.

Other than that, not much new or interesting is going to halpen around my place.

Have a lovely day all )
