I have had a busy morning. What with putting everything back in place after last night's dinner and battling Windows and their excessive storage (got help from @Fat Controller ) and getting rid of that.

It is cloudy here but I have plenty left to do inside so it is no big deal to me. I do have more garden clean up to do but that can certainly wait for a sunny day.

I haven't done much of anything yet. Just left a message for the doctor to let him know we're worried that Sam is getting side effects from some medication and has been in lots of pain over night. Hopefully he'll call as soon as he hears the message when he starts work today.

I've got the fruit soaking in orange juice and a bit of brandy for this Christmas' cakes. And I did water the plants in the cellar. Found another male weed plant and yanked him out! The basil and other herbs are doing nicely.

Got to pull out a bolt of cotton drapery lining and cut enough for panels for a large window in a client's dining room. Her fabric should arrive soon. And so should the fabric for those other ten windows of sheers for another client. Why do they all have to arrive at one!

@CanadianLori , I sorry Sam is suffering pain from her medication. I hope the doctor can put her right. Been a miserable day her raining on and off all day. Take care, stay safe and well. God bless. :-)

Had a nasty day yesterday. Sam was still in pain and I decided not to mess about so took her to emergency and we were there from early morning onward. After they realised that things were serious (12 hours later) they finally admitted her and I got home in the wee hours. The infections in her are raging again and I am blaming the new meds for suppressing her immune system as it is well know for that side effect. I'm a bit late here as I called everyone of her so called specialists this morning and told them where she is, what is wrong and what I expect from them. Get your act together boys! I'm saving a special scolding for her new GP who ignored this latest onset, right from get go. I will make sure I visit her office and scold her in front of the world. And then find Sam a new GP!

On a more pleasant note, I had a nice big dollop of my grapefruit marmalade on my toast this morning and really enjoyed that treat!
