Good day
It is still dark but I could see the tops of the greenhouses are slick with rain so it is obviously the wet day that the guessers have promised.

Got more gardens cleaned out yesterday. Cut down all the tomatoes and cannabis as it is going down to the freeze mark tonight.

Sam is doing okay. She's just waiting for some more tests to see if the infections have gotten into her bones. Hopefully it is not so. But she is in pretty good spirits. I call her to chat each morning and took a deck of Tarot cards for her to lay out each morning and tell me the cards for me to read her Past/Present/Future. Always a little bit of fun

I'm going to make a drive out near Niagara Falls to serve some papers this morning and am glad that I'm not wasting a day in the car on a sunny day. Rainy day? Who cares if I'm stuck inside or in a car!

I'm in @Victoria 's part of the world tonight in the sunny Algarve and drooling over a stunning property in Boliqueime.

When I do finally go to bed I will hopefully have warm , sunny dreams!!

I don't think your lifestyle unusual at all, very similar to mine .

I think life is for being awake and doing things you enjoy, after all we all have a very long rest awaiting us!!

 

I found 100s of old episodes on 'catch-up on All 4 ....should see me nicely through until Spring arrives.......along with our own sunshine

Right ...back to the Algarve...we're in Loule now.

About 20 minutes east of me. Lovely tiny restaurant we like there called Bolitasca.

Not my favourite place, large town which holds Carnivals about 45 minutes east of me. Large County which is one of the worst for the Virus!

Sounds like everyone is in good form today. I always feel lazy when I sign in here as everyone else has had a 5 hour head start on me

It is a cold cloudy day but I have lots to do inside so it makes no never mind to me!

I did get those papers served and it was a bit nerve wracking but it's done and today I get the affidavits notarised and filed with the court. And then I can just relax and wait for a couple of months.

Haven't talked to Sam yet this morning as she is usually off for tests or other things early in the day. I'll call her to find out what cards she turns today and then go see her this afternoon for the hour I'm allowed.

Getting the wheels changed over on my van today. Got the winter set put on the Mustang yesterday and truck and today will complete my changeover until the spring. Our insurance companies give you a small discount if you use snow tyres and have them on from Nov 1 through to April 1.

And I have a little shopping to do. Running out of things for son's lunches so need to get those supplies.
