    Hi Guy.
Seed sowing, lifting the remaining Fuchsias, weeding and pulling up spent annuals in the raised patio beds.
    Did you collect your car?

Aw that's a shame about the dog!!

Oh yes it's definitely 'raining' leaves here as we are surrounded by trees.

              Aloha everyone,

It's just the start of the leaf season here in Shineyland and the first lot have been raked up
              P1500037.JPG

Raking leaves will continue until the new year as the willows don't drop all their leaves until then.

Yesterday was busy with gardening and sorting things out in my office. I'm trying to prepare for a new computer in there, as well as the old one. The old one, only a year old, is remaining and I've been fighting with the wiring whilst installing two new external drives. Pulling out the computer station and sorting the wiring behind would have been easy if I was 50 or 60 years younger! :old:

The new one, due to be delivered today, will go on my desk but I'm running out of power sockets. The existing ones takes up three 4 gang adapters with computer, speakers, hard drives, router, printer, phones, light etc.

The ones the other side of my small office are behind a cupboard. I shall need to get access to them to add in another 4 gang extension. The trouble is that the sockets are behind a cupboard. The four cupboards in my office are freestanding but were built in situ (Ikea style - but a lot cheaper :heehee:) and there is no room to pull them out. My desk can't be moved as it's blocked in by the cupboards. I have 18" between my desk and the cupboard where I need to get to the sockets. So I'm going to have to remove the 3ft high pile of files on that cupboard, empty the inside and then try and squeeze in the 18" gap to ease the cupboard far enough forward to try and get to the socket. Then put everything back. I'm not sure I'm able to do that with my bad back and knee. I suppose the alternative is to try and guess where the socket is and cut a hole in the back of it. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Then it will be setting up the new computer, with backup drive and mirror the files on the other computer so that we can work the same on either computer. Fortunately that technical stuff will be done remotely by a very good GC friend.

I'll attempt to get all that done and have my masseuse, and painkillers, standing by.

              Keep well

              Aloha!

Good morning Shiney and all to follow. Sounds like you have a lot of work on with the new computer and all the leaves to clear up. Have a good day everyone, stay safe and well and take things easy. :wub2:

                  Good day
@shiney I have those outlet issues too. And just how the heck do the wires get into a jumble? I think that when I plug things in, that I have done a tidy job but when I go back to make a change, it's like spaghetti palace behind there!

It has rained during the night and the skies are still very grey. We are expecting this to continue until tomorrow early evening. I've got lots to do inside (get fabric ready to make 9 windows of sheer drapery) so the dreariness out there isn't a bother to me.

Sam is doing much better and they may let her come home today or tomorrow to be tended to here :fingers crossed:

Have a lovely day all. Cheers :coffee:
